Go a casual day (wouldn’t suggest doing it on a work day) in regular natural breathable shoes (Holes all by the toes) without socks to find out how much your feet really sweat.

Great advice. Got waterproof motorcycle boots. My feet are damp with cotton socks. I´ll buy are pair of moisture-transporting socks (as they are called in Europe)

Moisture wicking just means they have polyester or polypropylene in them. Invest in merino wool, not plastic socks.

@@fergusonto-2032 You best, not cheap. Darn Tough T3006 are the best in my opinion. They have a lot of choices so check out their website.

I work on the rail yard waterproof boots. My feet hurt and sweat. A friend suggested bamboo socks? Thoughts?

I would make sure there is a adequate shank in your boots and suggest using a moisture wicking sock. We don’t sell bamboo socks but they are considered moisture wicking. Thanks for watching and let us know if we can help!

Covert threads socks made for the military by retired military people they are the best socks I’ve ever owned and there made in the USA and they last , i went through 60 pairs of socks before I found the best.

@@QuadCitySafetyInc so two months later I still have my boots they work great, I also have my socks. One for every day of the week from Monday all the way to Saturday. THEY DONT EVEN GET SWEATY! Or moist best investment ever for daily comfort on hard days of work for my feet ever

One can have waterproof or breathable boots, but not both. Sadly most non-waterproof boots I've been around don't breath either.

Thanks for watching! A lot depends on what you’re wearing for boots. If you’re wearing waterproof boots then make sure you’re wearing a moisture wicking sock. There are socks that also feature added padding that compliment wearing protective toe. Diabetes also require special considerations. "Darn Tough" socks if you're willing to spend the money. Fox River steel toe boot sock are also excellent! Just shop around for sales so you're not paying $20.00+ a pair, your better off buying wool instead of poly-whatever. Avoid acrylic like the plague, all socks will have a break down of what they're made from on the packaging somewhere. The package might say WOOL, but it'll be 15% wool, 85% acrylic or some other plastic fibers.

I’m not aware of a waterproof sock in one of our product lines. Looks that the brands that make them market them more as a hiking/athletic sock rather than a work sock. Thanks for watching the video!

Boots have tight spots at toe, ankle.. the boots are real tight at shin to lower ankle and people need moletape skin and thick socks
