The envirocloth is not "disinfecting", it's removing the germs from the surface

Did you watch the same video we did? 1) there is nothing oily about a powder sprinkled on the nonporous surface 2) it isn't showing anything to do with the weaves of the two materials 3) it IS showing the effectiveness of chemical vs mechanical cleaning - it is simulating what happens when a disinfecting wjpe is used on a nonporous surface (the simulated dead germs are left behind and redeposited on the next surface when used again) vs what happens when the microfiber cloth is used (the simulated germs are removed from the surface and not redeposited on the next surface)

@@MSBLS721 oh sorry, this is a powder version. Even easier to understand then -- this is not proving anything at a viral or bacterial level. People need to remember this is simply a powder then...that glows under UV! Pretend it's glow in the dark baby powder then if that makes it easier to picture. Noone is able to shake out e-coli or salmonella onto the surface, from a jar. Active or dead. If you look up the PPS of powder glo germ, it's melamine. Both cloths are wet. It is absolutely not showing that the wetness - one is water and the other is alcohol -- that is picking up the "germs" and taking it off the surface. It is not water that is picking up the dust, it is the microfibre weave. A bacterial wipe cannot compare to the microfibre because of the weave and thickness of its fibres, NOT the chemical that's in it. It is comparing completely different things. Is that a clearer explanation? If it was truly trying it compare a chemical to mechanical, they'd test norwex microfibre + isopropyl alcohol and then compare it to Norwex microfibre + water. And you know what it would show -- exactly the SAME RESULT. Norwex microfibre picks up glo germ dust very well. I stand by saying it is NOT accurate to say it's chemical cleaning.

@@SLAM222 you don't understand how the chemicals work. they need to stay wet on the surface for certain amount of time to kill the germs. The wipes we have at the hospital where I work need to stay wet on the surface for 3 minutes to kill the germs. On the back of the lysol wipes I saw at the store the surface needed to stay wet with the chemical for 4 minutes. the wipe is designed to leave the chemical on the surface. please read the back of the package you have at home. they would not work if they are wiped right off.
