You will learn about the Normal Probability Distribution in Statistics. Specifically, we will learn how to use the area under the normal distribution to solve problems in statistics.
First we will review the normal distribution. Next, we will review several types of problems where we must find the area under the curve and use the z-score to the left and the right to find the answer.
Continuous probability distributions are a central part of statistics. Every student must master this topic because the normal distribution is used for the vast majority or problems in probability and statistics.

This is great, thank you. I'm beginning to feel good about probability and statistics. It's taking me a lot longer to understand probability and statistics than it took for linear algebra and calculus, but I think it's coming along.
