That girl singing Young, Gifted and Black doesn't come close to Aretha's version. After listening to Aretha's version, it's sad to say she does sound pretty bad. I've noticed when other singers try to sing Aretha's songs it's glaringly obvious Aretha's skill and talent puts most of them to shame. Nina Simone was the first person to sing that song and she was one of the very few who could hold a candle to Aretha.

Don't you just love how legends before accept their awards and do their speeches? Very profound, articulate, carefully worded, formal and the message can last a lifetime. But look at how artists accept their awards today, too much ego.
