I am new to ARGB/RGB and it took me 1.5 hours to figure out the difference between ARGB and RGB after getting new ARGB fans and RGB strips as one of the connecting cable was too short to be connected to the LED fan hub and at no wits' end at first. Thankfully I finally did and installation was a breeze afterwards!

My asus board shows up and works great with my asus 3080 on icue. Only the board, vc, and cpu fan show up in asus software. The icue software also works with my ram, kb, and case!

I actually came here specifically for the talk about connectors / differences between how they function. It's easy enough to Google a quick visual comparison, but for the technical side is harder to find clear instructions and context on and this video was super helpful. We can have both.

if my gpu is gigabyte but i have polychrome is there a device i can buy with software to control the gpu? also can i just download gigabyte software or will it just not work. one more thing, do you have any recommendations for argb gpu cable extenders (preferably for less than 40 bucks and very adressable lights) and an argb fan and rgb hub for my fans and cable extenders also i have an aio cooler, can that be used with an argb hub?. if not thanks anyways and i like your channel, nice job with the video

Thank you so much 3d! you can use openRGB to control just about all your rgb lighting including your GPU which is free and have a video based on that, for the argb cable for your GPU I usually recommend Lian Li's strimmers V2, they'll use the argb headers off your motherboard.

Not as bad as it looks, nowadays most motherboards only have argb headers, but always check the manual as they have a schematic of the board to be certain.

The video was good, but we all want to see argb's light up in different colors on the front of the case. not just the one fan with 2 colors. For instance putting blue on top, green in middle and red on bottom. That way we can get fan covers that represent different tribes or factions colors correct.

On my Asrock Z590 there are 2 RGB pins and 2 ARGB pins, so if I want to put a total of 4 fans for the case I have to purchase 2 RGB fans and 2 ARGB fans?

Nope don't even have to do that, you can daisy chain 4 fans on one RGB header or aRGB header 👍

Hey Iskandar, I personally like Corsairs QL fans as they are some very beautiful and super customizable, sl unifans are also some great ones and so are cooler master mfs as well. I hope this helped bro 😁✌️

I have a DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX L360 ARGB AIO which came with 3X CF120 fans(The ones without holo ring) and planning to get 3 more CF120 Plus fans(The ones with holo ring) will the lights in the pump and all these fans be controlled using Cooler Master MasterPlus Software if I purchase and use the Cooler Master ARGB Controller or Cooler Master ARGB Controller A1? 1. Found that the old Cooler Master ARGB Controller allows other branded AIO and fans to control lighting but no idea about individual LED and brightness. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Zsmcncqo0MvKkWw.html 2. Found the new Cooler Master ARGB Controller A1 allows control of individual devices even if they are daisy chained(landing.coolermaster.com/pages/addressable-gen-2-rgb-led-controller/) but not sure if it will work with other brands kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pNl1e9h-pqrVg2g.html Will the old Cooler Master ARGB Controller will support brightness control and Individual LED control for other branded fans?
