Brazil’s dream of an Olympic Gold ended in spectacular style after they were thumped 3-0 by archenemies Argentina in the Worker’s Stadium in Beijing.
Second-half goals from Aguero (two) and a penalty from Riquelme gave Argentina the victory and a place in the final against Nigeria. Brazil had to compete with Belgium for the third place in the bronze medal match.

Are you sure you're in a football video - on the Olympic channel - saying that football at the Olympics is "unimportant"? As if that weren't enough, we forget that Brazil is the greatest champion in the world (5 times) and in these 20 years it has won 3 Confederations Cups, 3 America's Cups and 2 Olympics.

@@danielewerton Yeah keep talking buddy lol. where are u from m8?? I understand you have no idea about football. But it's not like basketball, where the golden medal is more valuable than the FIBA world cup. In soccer the olympics are no way near the WC or the Copa America/Euro. Just look at the gold medallist: Even MEXICO won a gold medal in soccer lol. Thats what I meant.

Objectively, in this century alone Brazil has won 1 World Cup, 2 Olympics, 3 Confederations Cups and 3 Copa Américas. Which country won more than that?
