Dybala is so underrated. He gets no playtime for Argentina only because he plays similarly to Messi. I think Argentina should use him as a centre forward at some point.

@@Ray_Sal_22722its just u cant drop alvarez, and the fact that he plays similar to messi just hurts the team too much, its either messi gets injured and dybala can have a go or he just sits in the bench, alvarez is crucial for messi as he presses the backline while messi can wait we saw this at the world cup and how effective it was, Lautaro is a better finisher than dybala and should be at striker although unlucky not to score in wc he should be better for the copa america

If Palacios continues his form, he replaces De Paul. A mores aggressive ball winner and a more progressive passer.

Palacios cannot replace De Paul in any situation. If anything, De Paul is Argentina’s most crucial midfielder cuz no one else has the same dribbling skills and final third decisiveness besides Lo Celso who is out of form. If Palacios is to replace anyone, it should be Enzo Fernandez cuz he is more of a pure CDM, and would allow Mac Allister to push higher up.

I think Argentina should play with two mid-fielders and one cam player, that Dybala starts as the cam player and Mac Allister starts from the bench as his subtitute option. Then I think Alejandro Garnacho has been playing so well recently for Man Utd, that I would start him from the left wing and Messi from right wing with Di Maria being substitute option for both of these football players. Then I would of course start Alvarez from the middle as striker, because Martinez is famous of missing crucial game winning goals, like Higuani did back in the day, so thats why Martinez starts from the bench as Alvarez substitute option.

I feel like they should go for a 4-4-2 Diamond instead since Messi would no longer have the pace on the right flank. It’d be better for Messi to play as a CAM and support the duo striker up top, which is perfect for Lautaro and Alvarez. With Messi in CAM, he can also occasionally switch with Dybala when he’s tired.
