You all did a great review. Pallas Athene is my favorite. Pour Femme is the best ginger fragrance I’ve ever smelled. Danae is sexy with the sweet Cystic note. Triumph of Bacchus has the perfect balance of fruits, booziness, and tobacco. Wonderful fragrances by Argos.

I am following Argos on instagram for a long time but you are the first reviewer who review this house, I never saw another reviewer who talks or mentioned this brand before. I haven’t smell yet any of their fragrances but the bottle’s design are a masterpiece really amazing beautiful bottle 👌🙌

Oh brother, of course it's been mentioned before, check out Justin Copeland's reviews. He and others highly praise Argos for quite a while now. Triumph of Bacchus being the Crown Jewel 😎

Funny those are the exact two I have 🔥 I have a relatively large collection. I would say I have about 120 bottles in my collection and I appreciate the house has a 30 ml option. Not only is it more affordable especially if you are not an over sprayer which I am not. But gives you a chance to possibly use it up before it goes way bad.

I bought the sample kit. I like all of them except for Brividio, that one was really weak on my skin. Bacio is light but stayed with me 12+ hours. The others are wonderful as well. Nemean Lion is the only I havent put my nose on yet

Because of you guys, I ran and bought Pour Femme...ufff!!! (Standing ovation!!!) Then I bought Pallas Athene (the same), after that I went for Birth of Venus (you have to make the review) and just now, I ordered Danaë...I am a total addicted to this brand!

@@rottenrebels Today is my first day testing them. I received all 8 from the range so Danae is first with Brivido Della Caccia or Bacio Immortale to be tested tomorrow. Adonis Awakens and Pallas Athene have only been out a short while and are already part of the discovery set so happy days!

I blind bought ARGOS pour femme based on all the notes and that it is made in Grasse, France which is basically one of the perfume ingredient capitals of the world. It is a very rich, expensive smelling floral with a hint of ginger. BUT the Pallas Athene is a knock out!! My very picky daughter loved the sample too and she ran off with it! Best described as a very unique red berry and peppercorn!. People at the company were SO nice to deal with and my 100ml bottle was only $150 ish with a discount code. Great company to support.

Great video as always my friend!:) gotta say, argos surprised me, they are sweet but have a very pleasant vibe. Danae for me has a aaron terence hughes maverick vibe but with more fruits. Personally I have to say danae and pour homme are my favourites after trying all 8 :)

Hi!! Danae really impressed me! Pour Homme is an interesting blend that feels like the lightest of them all and sort of has vibes from both something "vintage-ish" and something modern. I have not tried the Aaron Terence Hughes you mention, is it something you recommend?

@@rottenrebels yes me too! Danae very much has the Aaron Terence hughes maverick vibes but dare I say I slightly prefer Danae :) definitely! Given your preferences I think youd enjoy it, it does have a slight shower gel vibe on the far drydown which I dont seem to get with danae but otherwise I would absolutely reccomend it

Cool...I've been waiting for this and also for the separate in depth upcoming reviews 😎 My mind was set on Triumph of Bacchus (for the obvious tobacco note in it) as I can't decide between getting Herod, Zaharoff' Tabac or Xerjoff's Naxos. I've sampled everything but this house, samples on the way 😎 I'm also curious about the one with rose in it...if it can match Initio's Atomic rose - that thing was a projecting long lasting Monster on my skin, my wife's in love with it and she didn't like rose before that either. Thank you both, great content as always and highly appreciated 👏

Herod is part of my fragrances for life collection (Part 2 coming up soon). Nothing but PURE love for that scent. I know a lot of people absolutely LOVE Naxos and I think it's a fantastic scent, but I do love Herod MORE. I have not tried Zaharoff Tabac.. Something you recommend?

@@rottenrebels Herod is still my nr. 1 but in a very close fight with Zaharoff's Tabac. I find Herod's both opening and drydown phenomenal...I can say the same about Tabac, except...the latter is more unique and interesting. If you love tobacco fragrances you have to at least sample Tabac, you WILL NOT regret it 😎

I just checked out the notes on that one.. Looks WICKED. how intense is the booziness vs the tobacco? That combo is a fantastic one but they are rarely both intense in scents (when together in a blend) 😊

@@rottenrebels heh...the booziness stays and works its awesome magic (like you've probably never seen before) in the opening only. It smoothes out after that in a sublime tobacco leaf accord - very subtle. It's nothing like Naxos or Herod, those 2 are more intense, Herod of course even more on the aromatic side in my opinion. But I'm telling you...if you do no sample this you are missing out on one of the best smooth and excellent tobacco fragrances out there. This is a blind buy for tobacco lovers imo (and I would never encourage anyone to blind buy anything), it's...gorgeous. You have to smell it to see what I mean 😎

Well I picked up Adonis Awakens, got it, smells awesome. In the pkg they gave me samples for Danae & Pallas, I ordered both immidietly 😂 big bottles too. I'm a fan of Argos, their stuff is top notch.

Never tried any of the house. I always hear people saying triumph of baccus is the best and most of the others rnt worth checking out if you don’t like deeper scents

I know what you mean by some rose having an “old” smell. Sometimes, they smell like the stereotypical “old lady” perfume, and that’s no good lol

Hi David! Yup.. I think the scent of rose is a fantastic one.. But only when it's done in a more modern way.. A rose dominant scent is actually part of my fragrances for life collection (part 2 coming up soon btw), but the truth is that a majority of rose dominant scents are NOT the kind I think is attractive. Not for men nor for women. But more sort of "modern" blends that have a good balance between rose and other notes and maybe with a bit of sweetness in them are awesome 👌 any sort of rose "dominant" scents you feel are nice?

@@davidbrachetto1420 Hi David! Hmm.. ERos flame (to me) is not a "rose scent". We did discuss a bit about rose scents in the Q&A that went live the other day. I am SUPER picky with rose, and Atomic is one that I love and that I almost always gets compliments for. Fantastic scent and different to most other rose dominant scents. Maybe check out Montale Intense Cafe? It's one of the better ones from Montale with vanilla/rose and a bit of coffee. I REALLY enjoy it but Atomic to me is MUCH better 😊Please do share what you end up trying and if you find a scent that you enjoy 😊😊

Yes, Argos sent me these to sample and review (if I wanted) and yes my views in this video are my own. So Back to your bottle question. I pretty much buy every single fucking bottle (and yes I have the receipts).. That's why this channel (my passion) is actually costing me more than I get from it. Sad but truth. Before being judgemental, why not take a look around? Do you see a bunch of affiliate links on my vids? Am I actively pushing every single thing a man can buy in my descriptions? Nope. Am I in partnerships with stores and pushing "a coupon code" that I get a kickback from in every single video? Nope. Do you see me sharing and helping my viewers (as much as I can) - in length and detail - with their questions in my comments? Yes. I have one goal with this channel and that is to make guys smell amazing. Simple as that. Nuff said.

You discovered one of my top 10 niche fragrances in Triumph of Bacchus! But you only gave it an 8 and a 9! That will change when you start wearing it. ☺ Argos probably have the best bottles. I can see you both fighting over them lol.

Hi Sandy! Thanks for sharing.. Then you truly love the scent if it's in your top 10! 😊 It will be interesting to see how they behave on skin. Sometimes scents develop sort of the same on paper as on skin, sometimes different. So far I tried Danae which I feel sort of smells the same on skin and I really enjoy it. It reminds me a bit of Boss Bottled Oud which is a scent I always enjoyed a lot. I know a lot of people don't like boss bottled oud but I always enjoyed it. You tried Danae? Bacio Immortale and Pour Homme are also scents I tried on me and both smell great on skin as well. Bacio seems to be the most powerful of the two. I had 2 people during the same dinner party comment on how they felt it across the table 😉 Will let you know if I change my mind of Triumph of Bacchus 👀

@@rottenrebels Sadly, Triumph of Bacchus (TOB) is the only one I own so I'm extremely envious! I'm hoping I get a chance to sample the others at some stage but having to reign in the finances until Christmas. I've heard Danae is a great scent. I think you were quite impressed with TOB so hopefully it will go up a mark or 2 in your estimations. It's extremely addictive and probably in my top 3 tobacco fragrances along with Naxos and Tobacco Vanille.

That damn Triumph makes you feel triumphant for sure! I had been wanting to get my nose on it for 2 years(beginning of my frag journey) so I was lucky enough to be in Frisco TX and hit up The Scent Room who specialize is a 100% niche inventory. When I asked for it they already knew I was not a rookie or someone that didn't know what they were into...unfortunately they were out of stock but they did throw in a sample of it with my other purchases. It was all I hoped for and more

If you order internationally, be prepared for slow delivery. I ordered 17 days ago and haven't received any updates on my order for over a week. Their courier is the worst I've experienced. They also haven't replied to my inquiries for over three days. I have never gone out of my way to leave such comments on a product or service before, but when you do all these collaborations and promote your brand as luxurious and great, you should live up to it throughout the entire process. I even asked for a refund, but I have to wait for it to be processed, send the product back, and probably pay for the return shipping. I would not recommend this company.

I’ll never spend even 200 dollars on a fragrance. Triump of Bacchus is 345. That’s ridiculous. I don’t care how good a fragrance smells. No cologne should cost 300 or 400 or 500 dollars. That’s what like tv’s and refrigerator’s and washers and dryers should cost. Not something that you spray on your body.
