Yeaa I think it was...You get more then just a "room" with the penthouse; limo service to & from the airport...a sky suite lounge also available to you with free Fiji, sodas, wine, etc...Not to mention they treat you like roalty when you have one of these suits lol and theres also a special set of elavators for sky suite guest..so yea, I'd do it again.

I think this is a good value for $700/night. We got 2 penthouse suites at the Vdara at a total of $1800/night, but the layout of the penthouse Sky suites looks better. Although the penthouse views at Vdara on the 55th floor was much nicer, had the view of Paris and the Bellagio fountains, which were amazing esp at night. Also had the corner room which had 360 degree of views.

Good video, thanks for taking the time to upload it. Not jerky or out of focus, shot on a cheap cell phone camera like so many. Even though I am not a fan of City Center in general, the penthouse looks like it will be worth a stay, though not for $700 a night. For that an MGM Skyloft or Mirage Lanai Villa would be a much better deal.

@843718 Yes, there are two versions; the one you see here (the Panoramic Penthouse Sky Suite) and the one you see on Aria's website (Penthouse Sky Suite City View). I dont think they talk about the Panoramic that much on their site, but its definitely a great room...I booked mine over the phone thats how I was able to get this room. If you want it, just make sure your room number ends in "37" and you will be on the same wing that I was..its also $100 more per night than the city view

I'm actually going to back to Vegas at the end of July & I was highly considering the penthouse suite at Vdara. Did you have the 1 story or 2 story suite? Also, as far as views, I had the wraparound suite at cosmo last summer and the view was amaaazing. I'm not sure you can get a better view in vegas than that. HIGHLY suggested. You wouldnt happen to have a video of the vdara penthouse, would you? Have yet to find one..

Was it worth $700? In the video it doesn't seem like it was but maybe I have high expectations for a room that I won't be seeing much of when I go to Vegas.

One, I didnt design the room, meaning I didnt install a surround sound system myself. They put it there for a reason, dont ya think? Two, its Vegas..which says enough in itself. And actually another couple with us had the next penthouse over, never heard a single lyric :)
