They both are still Jokers, enough said. If they named it other than Joker that would be one thing but since they decided to name it Joker based on the DC comics, then it's still the Joker. Different interpretations but at the end, they're still crazy people like what the Joker is. Like you say, Arthur Fleck turned into Joker and yet the title of the movie is Joker so it is the same character, Jokers

Box office have nothing to do with quality dumbass. The movie was great, very well recieved by critics and audiences quality wise therefore she deserved it. I mean NWH grossed a lot of money at the box office and it only got one nomination and it didn't even win it

Her performance clearly didn't tank. And the film critics loved her performance so yeah. She earned it.
