So i was there during the rally in emerald avenue, and there were actually overall 137,000 people there💖 Break Free, with a message of resistance and reclamation, was just such a fitting song to hear during the event. 🥺💖

Ariana G. song is very popular in the ph, but I bet not all in that crowd are her fans. The rally is not for her, its for the female politician in the ph who is curently candidate running for president, the crowd almost comsist of young generations since they knew the song

for more context n everyone's reference This was during a political rally supporting presidential candidate, Leni Robredo (the only woman running for the highest position in the country) in Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines. This was not just sang randomly. They're singing "Break Free" because they want to break free from tyranny, corruption, and bad governance all in all. They're fighting for a better and transparent governance for the next 6 years of our lives. This is also a rally against another possible Marcos regime since the late dictator's (Ferdinand Marcos) son, Marcos Jr. is also running for presidency. These people want to break free from incompetent and fascist leadership and do not want another Marcos to be back in power.

Calm yourself. I am an educated person though. Too paranoid can lead to ignorance. I think I should believe now that Leni's supporters are the people who are sick in mind. Everything is about them. My president of choice is undecided. You guys are fighting like crazy on facebook. I am a die hard supporter of President Duterte but him constantly downgrading Leni. I am not happy about it. Same thing goes to any politicians or candidates who think they are better than others. Again, I am neither Leni's supporter nor BBM's supporter.

But this wasn't about her. The rally was for a presidential candidate in the Philippines. It just so happens that one of the drag queen performers does Ariana Grande, so that's why the song was performed.

@@nigelslatcher8761 Yes, about $3-$5 dollars actually. And they have a bus and vans to pick up their supporters from around the philipines or whatever just to have many people as possible in their caravan. I literally saw them picking up their supporters just to join them.
