The man didn’t say anything because it’s allowing her to have her moment. Allow her to be free without interruption. Sometimes it’s better to say nothing, and simply just to listen. A minor interruption can change the course of conversation at any moment. It’s not uncomfortable. It’s being respectful, and allowing someone to let out their demons. I respect both of them for this.

I rly feel like he wanted to say something like "don't be sry" or "don't apologize", but he was caught between if he opens his mouth he might cry or that it may be easier on Ari to just carry on w/ the convo/asking questions to help her compose herself. The tears were flowing when she said "then Christmas comes & you're thinking about it". She is haunted. This was so heartbreaking to watch. Then she lost Mac... Still in 2019 she is the most powerful and brightest person you will ever meet. She went through that attack, Mac Miller’s death, and the terrible breakup with Pete Davidson and she still turns everything happy and try’s to lighten a moment like then and she is not scared to open up about anything and talk about things and feel confident about it and that makes her the most genuine person ever and still she won woman of the year, artist of the year she also won her first frickin Grammy and still went through all those bad things but made it to the top being the number 1 artist in the world so it so amazing to see how she went through that but had the most amazing year in her career is just breathtaking.

good on her for speaking up about mental health. it's a critical issue in our society that carries a stigma that's incredibly toxic and problematic in virtually every way. and while we've certainly made strides in addressing the issue over the past several years, we still have a long, long way to go. we all need to wake up, speak up, and just do better. however, if you're someone with a huge platform, such as this young lady, it's absolutely critical. that said, her willingness to get a little bit uncomfortable and have a conversation about something so personal and traumatic speaks volumes about her heart and her character. it's so appreciated and it does not go unnoticed. keep it up, sis. 💜💜💜

A decade ago, I was sitting in a room, just doing my freaking job, and a man walked in and started shooting. He killed five people before he was shot dead. (Technically six if you count the wounded man that died a few months later). One minute, I'm listening to a proud dad go on and on about his son's accomplishments, and the next I'm listening to him gurgle his last breath on the floor next to me. It changes you permanently. I'm proud of her that she broke down and let her feelings come out so honestly, so people can see that it doesn't just fade away and you're back to normal again. These events have very permanent impacts, but unless you were there it is easy to just move on to the next story. Even complain that people are "still talking" about it! I feel like the way this video cuts off represents that attitude of, "Eh, I'm bored of listening to it. Move on to the next." Don't be shocked this keeps happening.

I heard anothet audio of it where when Ari finished she was apologizing for crying and saying she was a mess. The interviewer said something really deep: That a lot of people confuse crying and showing emotion with being weak, and that it's exactly the opposite. What he said really hit me.

My friend was in the Manchester attack thankfully she came out untouched and now she has so much anxiety just go anywhere , it rlly makes u think about what might happen in the future.
