Ghostin is actually a sample of Mac Miller's song 2009. She also said it's about being in love with someone else while being with someone and wanting to be with the one she loves but trying to keep her word and promise to the one she's with. 2009 is one of Macs last songs and one of his best! Check it out!

Idk what I’m trying to say exactly but y’all should try to edit a bit better. Two examples are you guys mentioning Rihanna and then skipping over the part of “Makeup” that mentions Fenty Beauty and at the beginning of ghosting when you predicted that it was about Pete and MAC and then skipping over the lyric “I know that it breaks your heart when I cry again, over him” which basically proves you right. It’s just something to think about in the future.

Sweetener album was actually the opposite of her coming out a tragedy, she was very much in love with Pete at this point and then Mac Miller died and then she wrote Thank u next album, while writing this album she was falling in love with herself while going through mac miller’s death and break up with Pete.
