Totally agree. Why the DUCK would someone’s personal life make a difference in the quality of their work? The reactor here needs to read up on ELIZABETH TAYLOR. She famously stole Eddie Fisher from her “friend” Debbie Reynolds. (Fisher and Reynolds were also the parents of CARRIE FISHER and the grandparents of BILLIE LOURD) Fisher and Taylor were only together a few years before Taylor left him for Richard Burton. Yes, Taylor ended up married EIGHT times to SEVEN men (she married Burton twice). BUT. Taylor was also one of the most gifted performers every put to film. She won TWO Oscars, one for a masterpiece, “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf”, an adaption of a stage show. She was STUNNING in the movie. Crazy good. Taylor was also one of the most beautiful women in film history, yet for “Virginia Woolf” she actually succeeded in making herself UGLY. Her PERSONAL life had no impact on the quality of her work. Ariana is the same way. Her personal life is PERSONAL. It has nothing to do with her talent or the dedication she’s put into this role or the many months she spent training and preparing to play Galinda (later called “Glinda”). I think she’s NAILED IT. I don’t give a fig if you say she was “CANCELLED”. Cancelled from what? Being talented? Being a hard worker? Being a gifted actor and vocalist? Stop. Just stop. She has a major movie role. She’s excellent in what we’ve seen. And she deserves RESPECT for the quality of her work, and not SCORN for anything that purportedly happened to her personally. So. Knock. It. Off. And also: If they fell in love with each other, during filming, what should they do? Deny their feelings and stay in relationships that would turn miserable and sour, because the love is gone? ABSOLUTELY TRUE. We ALL know about Elizabeth Taylor’s notoriety with stealing Eddie Fisher from her ‘FRIEND’ Debbie Reynolds, only to dump him a few years later for Richard Burton. Knowing that, I still believe Taylor to be one of the FINEST performers in film history. Just watch “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf.” Stunning performance! (And deservedly, she won the OSCAR!) Her personal escapades did NOT in any way detract from the quality of her work. So, for all of us. Please issue a detraction/apology. Ariana was on Broadway before she did Nickelodeon. This role means EVERYTHING to her, and she’s obviously put in a lot of work. So let’s cut her some slack, and NOT go into the theater with pre-conceived notions about her PERSONAL life. It’s hers. Also, Boq appears at the beginning of the show, Then in Dancing Through Life, right before Elphaba leaves for the Emerald City, Then you don't see him until Act 2 (Wicked Part 2) where he becomes the Tin Man. Boq in is all of 5 or 6 scenes of a 2 ½-hour show and potentially a 4/5 Hour Movie with both parts combined. You can see Boq twice in the Teaser. Once in the Oz Dust Ballroom and then as the Tin Man with Dorothy. He's also very visible in the featurette.

@@blainedavis8819 you’re right. The timelines don’t lie. They absolutely were having an affair, and according to producers on the set of the movie, they did not try to hide it.

@@GilbertGTV Yes he filed for divorce after the news went public, but it’s possible they were already separated. Also, I wouldn’t put much cache in tabloids. Not only is it more entertaining, but there is more money leaning into/creating drama.
