Filipino baiting is both good and bad. It's good since Filipinos are finally getting the recognition and representation that they deserve. In most cases, the videos that are Filipino baiting started with Filipinos suggesting they try Filipino stuff anyways. It's only bad when it gets annoying and too stereotypical but with Neon I think they did a pretty good job with making her character not just about her being Filipino but still having enough representation with her non stereotypical but still Filipino accent, some Filipino voice lines and her characteristics.

Oh my God, it didn’t hit me with just how bad it sounds when Aria said “I have a lot of filipino friends.” It instantly reminded me of the classic “no it’s okay, I have a lot of black friends” excuse 😂

For example in league of legends and valorant there is politics. We cant compete fairly on League of Legends before because we dont play it on stage or lan but online and its disadvantageous for us indonesians and Filipinos thats why thailand and vietnam have the fastest internet in the sea and also most competitive in league. Soon we will have our own data center so we could not rely on data centers of singaporeor taiwan. Singapore has that adavantage but not that competitive on online games. But to me, this might be a little bit of that but not entirely. I think I'm just glad that we get representation on such a popular game.
