Күн бұрынIn this video, we give this pair of Ariat boots a makeover. A customer mailed these in to us to be refurbished. His request was to use Vibram soles and heels with a much thicker tread. We did exactly that, and these Ariat boots are now ready for the challenges ahead.

I've seen all your resole/restoration vids at least...half a dozen times now. When I am super stressed or I am feeling super low I watch those to ease my mind and calm my soul. This resole you did here was a work of art and I am just like "I want a pair of boots like that", those were some gorgeous boots.

Pretty much the same here. It seems that there is so much violence in the streets, rioting, looting, destroying national treasures, that watching creators and builders like these calm me, and give me faith in something good is happening in the world. Hi guys, I want to thank you for teaching me so much about good quality shoes. I recently spotted some barely-worn ‘Made In Italy’ shoes in our local charity shop and I knew they were a great investment straight away. There's something so satisfying watching these videos...it's therapy to me. I'm always learning from you both and feel inspired to get some of my old shoes restored. Not only are they merciful to my 70 year-old feet, but they were bought in 2001 when gifting my horse-rancher brother-in-law an identical pair in North Dakota. This was an awesome video. For years after driving an ambulance I kept my first bear of work boots; but, sadly after the stitching gave way, I threw the boots away. I regret throwing them away now, knowing they could have had been repaired.

My goodness it's like watching the Pet Ranch channel where a battered animal came in the the doctors fixed the poor creature and by the end of the video, the dog/cat animal is happy again. These pair of work boots were wreaked and you brought them back to life!

Another great video. After you get completely settled into you new place and the new machines have come in, could you give us all a tour of the place and show and explain what each machine is and does. We only ever get to see bits and pieces of the tools and I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to see more of the machines and tools and what they do. Thanks again for sharing with us.

Man you guys do a tremendous job on these glued sole shoes. Most cobblers in my area would not even bother. They tell people they are not able to resole the shoes. This is going the extra mile for sure. I have friends who buy cheap boots that I try to convince to get something welted and better quality so they're feet don't feel so beat up at the end of the day.

Today I took my Ariat boots to my usual cobbler and was told that he wouldn’t do it as there’s too much plastic and won’t work well if he did. I was disappointed so I’m not sure what I’m gonna do.

You guys are great. To see a couple of corporate guys quit the rat race and go do something they want to is the American dream. Add in the fact that you are truly craftsman for being so new to the trade is a bonus. Nice to see a shoe repair shop that is clean and light. Not sure if you've mentioned in another video if you are, but the new place is very bright. A lick of paint, maybe a warm navy blue and olive (with white trimmings) would look a treat. Didn't expect these boots to look that good in the end, but I should've known better. :)

After you removed the boot shank I did not see that you put a new one in. Boots need to have a shank of some sort, especially work boots, having to be your feet all day to give you the needed support. Thanks. Great job by the way.

Wouldn’t have thought those would have been worth a resole My local country store carries those and sometimes drop them near $100 But I understand when you’ve gone through several pairs to finally find one you love you don’t want to go through it again Great job Looks terrific

Really cool. I have a pair of all leather lace up Ariat work boots in about the same shape as you just repaired. The sole is a bit better but will eventually be ready to be replaced. Great video. I hit mine with leather lube every now and then when they start looking extremely rough. Thanks for the upload.
