I partially give credit to Canada for Ariel’s upbringing. Canadian are generally friendly and unpretentious people who value humility, empathy, sensitivity and respect for people’s individualism. You will never hear Canadian’s say, ‘Hi! Wow, you gained so much weight since we last met!’ or ‘Do you like my Rolex watch? or I drive a Benz.’ Canadians have a more subdued approach in life. They are mostly humble and let their work speak for themselves (eg. Ryan Reynolds / Gosling, David Foster, Celine Dion, Keanu Reeves, Jim Carey, Kiefer Sutherland to name a few). I know I’m totally off topic but as I watch this video and learn more about Gellie’s hubby, being a Canadian myself, it makes so much sense to me why Ariel is the way he is.
