Love this video! Just a little something with the glitter lipstick product, be careful with the Almond oil. My allergy mom alert 🚨 went off. My son has life threatening food allergies and almond oil can be very bad for an allergy child. Just wanted to give you a heads up, because I know when people don’t live with allergy awareness as a life style its not thought of. So Zoey doesn’t have food allergies but she wouldn’t be able to use that because Zachary could come in contact with it. Its a very hard thing every product we buy we have read the labels...glad to see a video again! ♥️ you are an amazing teacher. 😊

Hi Ariel! Love watching your videos so helpful! I’m actually a special effects makeup artist that is starting face painting myself so all your tips and trick are awesome! I was just wondering if you could answer a question for me? Do you get many face painting gigs in the winter and if not what do you do? Thanks

Hi Kate. I live in a climate that gets VERY cold so in the winter I do mainly birthday parties on the weekends. I also have a technology job that is much busier during the winter months so I keep busy doing both.

Hi Ariel, I love all your work. Thank you! Soo….I inquired about the ingredient-almond oil in their glitter stick. They said it’s their recipe so go check with someone else that carries aloe based ones. Do you not worry about the possible allergic reactions you could I Duce to people allergic to almonds? I am allergic and know quite of few people who are as well. Being that it is face paint a parent wouldn’t have the least idea to ask about those kind of ingredients in the paints or other things used so would be stumped as to what caused the reaction. 🤷‍♀️ I used a lotion that had almond oil in it and I broke out in hives I ended up in the ER. Now I know the amount in the stick is probably small but some kids are tiny and sensitive so it wouldn’t take much.🤷‍♀️

Hi. I don’t actually use the glitter sticks right now OTJ so it’s not a concern for me. If I was using them though I’d ask the kids and parents if they have an allergy. In my experience people with allergies are very quick to tell you and little kids are trained to warn people. I also have found that kids with sensitive skin or allergies usually talk to me before they get painted. Their parents almost always come up to my chair and tell me about a reaction they had or ask me about my paint and I discuss it with them.

You said you “cleaned your sponges”. I’m just starting to use Proaiir. Hoping to do pool parties this summer. How did you clean the sponges? I’m guessing an alcohol bath but wouldn’t that take a LOT of alcohol?

Yes, the only way would be alcohol and I wouldn't do that OTJ. I'd bring enough sponges with me that I wouldn't need to clean them.
