No it is not. Child support is the level of care the kids would have if both parents were still together. It is based upon what each person makes they review each income and award the amount based on that.

Yeah I thought the same thing too at first. They filed in the state of Georgia where they reside . In Georgia , they go by the same mathematical equation as everyday earners. The numbers came out for erica to receive 2500 BUT the courts added an additional 2k because she was pregnant at the time of filing. So technically, the courts were being generous. If they would have filed in cali or NY , he would have paid more because they don’t have the same child support algorithm system . There was also a line item in the divorce decree that states that she has to pay 100% of this lawsuit that this one lady filed on erica . It was a defamation lawsuit because erica accused her on social media of being the person that robbed her home. And that lawsuit was in the thousands. Either way I was shocked . They do however spend money frivolously but that is a whole other story.
