I don't think celebrities care about us and the strange thing is they're only celebrities because people have contributed to their singing a song, playing a sport or whatever non-essential thing they do. The people who make a difference in their lives and have power probably wouldn't know who that person is if they were standing in front of them in the grocery store.

I think it's weird and pitiful how some adults behave towards celebrities. These same adults probably can't name the mayor of the city, or governor of the state they're from or live in, they can't name 5 scientists, 5 doctors, or any other people who actually have a significant impact on their lives.
