For some reason, I was more fascinated with Larry Bird than anything on that show. But I loved it too. Season 2 was so rushed. We should’ve seen the writing on the wall when they was trying to compact sooooo many years in 7 episodes that it was not getting picked up for a 3rd.

I had 4 kids. One income. BUT, my wife stayed at home. No daycare cost. My wife breast fed. No Similac cost. We homed schooled. A "private education that cost us nothing more than the curriculums that we used, and once we bought the ones for the first child, we had them for ALL of the rest! We used modern cloth diapers, so that was basically one investment of about $600.00, up front, that took us through all of our kids diaper stages. Kids didn't start becoming expensive for us until they got to about 6 or 7 where ballet, taekwondo and the like became factors, but they STILL weren't as expensive as most American families. It's all about life style choices..
