Maybe no one will read this, maybe some will, but I want ONEWE to know how healing and beautiful their music is. I first came to know them when they had the collab with Hwasa and I remember commenting on that music video that I hoped it would bring more recognition to them because they deserved it. My wish for that to happen has only grown more and more with their music over the years since. When 'Parting' came out, I was in love. I felt like I had never heard such beautiful music. Then, a few months later and the MEMORY: illusion album came out and I was in disbelief. The title track 'A book in memory' wrecked me. Its a heartbreaking song and I cried listening to it while reading the lyrics. Also, finding out that the song was based off of the movie, The Notebook, made me even more emotional. I had never reacted to music like this before. I felt so touched by it. And not just that song, the whole album made me this way. I dont think I will ever forget the way I obsessively listened to the MEMORY: illusion album on repeat when it came out. I had started a new job and I swear, I listened to it in the car to work, on the way home, during my work hours. I couldn't get enough. It was also the first korean album that I downloaded on Spotify, and its still the only 1 of 2 that I have downloaded. I only download albums that I wholeheartedly believe is a "no skip" album. Even though theres only 3 songs and a instrumental, I couldn't get enough. Even listening now, I still think it's amazing. Since then, ONEWE has continued to release incredible music and somehow always exceed my expectations. They are my favorite k-band by miles; theres no one touching them in my opinion. Their talents, vocals and just pure composition of the music they create is untouchable. They're really amazing. I'm so happy that they got to have this special. Its always so nice to see them perform
