He was the first governor to start paying the NEW minimum wage. Local government elections are conducted via electronic voting system on his watch. First in the country. The same electronic voting system that India and America uses. The commissioner for Urban planning and development in Kaduna is a Yoruba woman called Fausat Ibikunle. Eversince he said he will never negotiate with terrorist, that's when the bandits started attacking Kaduna, but he never gave in. Once in a while, he makes some controversial statements, but he's more competent than a lot of Southern governors.

Isn't this a problem that has already been solved by the creation of the states? I don't understand why the agitation isn't for greater state autonomy considering the fact that they're already there and you don't have to make massive legislative changes. Then if those newly empowered states choose to work together on certain issues, they are free to do so.
