I even find it appalling how Monday Opebholo became a senator from Edo central... When I watched his contribution and speaking he made on the floor of The Senate, I was ashamed that such a person is the senator representing my constituency, it was very nauseating... Pls He(Monday Opebholo) can't be the governor of Edo state, period! The APC people know it very well, they only see a person they can manipulate to their own selfish interest, not because they love the Edo people or even Monday Opebholo himself... They just want to masquerade behind him, especially Oshiomole and Akpabio and the rest of them.

Truth be told, Asue Ighodalo leads, followed by Tayo Akpata, and then Monday Okpebholo. Monday Okpebholo, the APC candidate, is a good man. However, he is deeply deficient in intellect and competence. He lacks the capacity for independent judgement. His government will be hijacked by the political hyenas who populate the APC. These political hyenas have been starved of public funds for 8 yrs. Giving them access to the state's treasury, something their candidate has openly said he would do, would be disastrous for Edo state. I see Asue Ighodalo in the same mode as Alex Otti. Those who oppose him are doing so because they know he has capacity for independent judgement and can't be pushed around like the APC candidate. But wait, why has the APC candidate refused to come on TV to address the people about his plans for the state? Doesn’t this reveal somthing about him? Let's be logical here. I hope he does not reject a debate by the candidates. Edo people and indeed Nigerians deserves to hear these candidates and assess theor readiness and competence for the job.
