Hate him or like him,Dr.Kwankwaso controls Kano politics.Ganduje might be better than him in other aspect,but definitely not in politics of Kano.I won't be surprised if his son suceeds Engr. Abba Yusuf as governor in 2031.

U are completely out of date Kwankwaso was a former : Civil servant as engr Deputy speaker house of reps Senator Two times governor of Kano Defense minister Chairman dafur peace keeping mission at sudan PhD in water resources engineering So Kwankwaso has a better CV and therefore more experienced compared to Peter Obi

@meyoutv9385 Having decades of experience as politician by holding various posts in government in Nigeria doesn't make Kwankwaso more qualified. It actually demarket him because all those years didn’t make Nigeria better but worst. PhD also doesn't mean better qualified. President Goodluck Jonathan has PhD but didn't do better than late President Yaradua without doctorate degree. Financial management, people management, integrity, business acumen, sound knowledge of economics, diplomacy, international relations, politics and government are among skills needed to do well as President of a nation. Water Engineering is not on that list. You can tell us Kwankwaso contributions to governance or Water Engineering. Have you checked contemporary and advanced short courses done by Obi at best universities in the world, and positions he held in the private sector in Nigeria and UK.

Let’s not be deceived and distracted. Kwankwaso is a deceiver and pretender like Obi. Nigeria doesn’t need greedy old politicians, Kwankwaso is the first Gov. that started withholding L.G funds in the entire North. Tinubu, Obi, Atiku and Kwankwaso are birds of the same feather. Kwankwaso’s political heft is overrated by him and his followers. He lost his attempt at reelection after his first term as governor, so he is not as politically invincible as he perceives of himself, a perception for which he refused running as Obi’s VP. Ibrahim Shekarau had to take a backseat to Kano politics for Kwankwaso to seem politically firebrand leader of Kano again. My point: ANPP needs to align with other parties to remain relevant, else APC will eventually rig them out of Kano state.
