Gold Medal Kabaddi Match between India and Pakistan during the Asian Games in 2006 held at Doha, Qatar. India won the match with a score of 35-22.

All in all, I find this sport excellent. 1) You need nothing. 2) the rules are very simple. 3) Agility, Speed, Strength, Resistance, Reactivity, Intelligence, Strategy, Team Work. I can't believe it's not yet an olympic game. It is exactly what i would consider an olympic sport. Man, 4000 years ?

@@mee.mumbaikar To be included in Olympics, a game needs recognition from 40 countries but Kabaddi is recognized only in 32 countries. Fortunately , Indians are trying to promote it now.

I'm an American and have never heard of this game until today. This is an excellent game! Fun to watch, fast paced, simple yet incredibly complex. I loved it.

Great match. It was interesting to hear commentators discovering the rules of the game as they comment. LOL Great effort by commentators though. It’s a great game of strength, agility and mental awareness. Japan, Korea, China, SGP and Middle East countries already play it. As Indian economy grows, this game will become more popular. Already Pro Kabaddi players make $100K+ from a single 3 months season, more than any other game in India, except Cricket

+Andreas Hertzberg If you watch the match you would understand most of them. 7 players with each team. A raider has to touch the opponent players & come back to his box. If he succeeds, all those he has touched have to leave till they can be brought back while his team would get an equal number of points as well as an equal number of his own team mates, if they are standing out, would be brought back. If he is captured he has to leave & the opponents get a point. If he comes back without touching anyone then no changes in point & now it's the opponent team's turn to raid.
