My personal opinion: When Steve put his head on that tree and prayed at 40:01 God had that bull bed down so he could get another shot. What a hunt. Congratulations!

Funny they think Steve acts like a child when he is angry, he actually “ in my opinion “ portrays the most emotion when he is successful in goofy ass ways like most of us do 😂

Out of all the bull elk hunting videos I have ever watched on u tube this by far has been one of the very best, from the near shots to highs and lows, suspense , all of it. Congratulations on a great bull elk.

This brought me back a few years to a cow I stuck in the guts. 50 yards and she stepped as I shot. I've never felt so sick over an animal in my life. We left her for 3 hours and came back in to find her bedded but still alive. Snuck to 55 yards and she winded me and bolted. Fortunately the arrow was still in her and opened something up when she ran. 8 hours after the first shot we tracked her down and it took 2 more arrows in the vitals to end it. Great job on getting him finished fast. I love watching you guys hunt. I'm a disabled Iraq war veteran and southwest washington hunter

The PERFECT AZ hunt. You had screaming bulls and close encounters for 8 days. What a great experience! Think of all you would have missed if Steve tagged out on the first day. After 8 days, you start to feel the pressure of "Maybe this isn't going to happen after all". The point between getting full enjoyment and really feeling the pressure is a fine line. Happy for you guys. I live in AZ and get to bow hunt most years in the late season. Hoping to one day draw another early season tag so I can hunt for 8 days and then tag out. I'll say it again, best series ever!

I drew a Utah LE tag in a coveted unit. It is a unit that usually takes 10-15 years, and I had 4 points. When I found out I drew, I spent all my free time preparing. The stress level is way up there. It was truly a "once a life time' hunt for me. You have to have the paper in your pocket to know what this feels like for sure. Any comment made without this prerequisite is just fodder. Steve, great job. Cody, Trent and Trevor- great job guys.

My first thought was holy crap an 1:35 hr video. Then it was like "hell yah!!!! " something awesome happened. Congrats Steve & BRO crew. What a great episode. Knowing you didn't make a good shot and coming back and kicking around ideas with everyone to make the best decision about what to do next was smart. 2 guys staying back, 2 guys slowly trailing the elk, so much quieter so much less movement, "so smart". It natural to fell pressure when drawing a tag like that. You don't put in for 13 yrs in a unit to go shoot a cow or spike. Its for that once in a lifetime bull.

Just started the video, listening to the intro as I type this. I myself just purchased my first ever bow and am getting back into hunting. A lot of the reason for that is because of this channel as well as The Hunting Public. These are to of the realest hunting channels I have found and they show both the good and the bad times. I look forward to my nights and what content will be coming. I thank you all for this amazing content and showing what real hunting looks like. Keep grinding and I wish you all the Merriest Christmas and Happiest New Year.

Top 3 BRO episode for me no doubt. This AZ trip is exactly what you guys are all about and completely not at the same time and I loved it. I’ve watched hundreds of elk hunting videos online and this is the first one that had me on the edge of my seat! I drew a coveted tag in Wyoming a couple years ago and this video brought me back to that hunt! I even did the same thing. Bad range and hit low first shot. Did a stalk after two hours and got two more arrows in him. I cried when the last arrow double lunged an incredible bull. I sat there for 10 minutes 20 yards away from the bull before I called my brothers up! Again one of the best videos you guys have ever put up! Worth the wait

Congrats on such a GREAT Bull!! I've had a tag like that in the Book Cliffs of Utah. I totally get it! I lucked out and got a 357" bull (archery --I'm 8 for 8 bulls with a bow in Utah now..). Until someone has that type of tag in their own pocket, they can't understand that pressure! That's a toad of a bull! What's his score?

Happy birthday for you Treavor from the other day. What better way than to spend it too! I turned forty myself this year so I treated myself to a lifelong dream and travelled to Alberta, Canada, all the way from Australia, to pursue a archery Black Bear. I was successful with an absolute belter of a bear so I truly am blessed to have a family that supported my passion and was behind me totally! Well done to you all on a successful, stressful, and unbelievably enjoyable hunt to watch. Hats off to you all for doing what you love !

Wow that was amazing it was a flash back of my bull this year I liver shot him first shot was waiting to go look for him and it started to rain I'm in sw Washington and when it rained this year it poured so when it started I figured I better go look for blood and see how it was well high liver there wasn't much so I slowly started tracking made it about 30 yards and seen him bedded behind a down tree tried to get another in him and hit a stup he was laying behind I couldn't see he got up but couldn't move much so I moved to the side and got another one in him perfect double lung he started bucking like a rodeo bull about 15 yards in front of me so I again put another in him this time was a frontal dropping him in his tracks found my broadhead in the middle of his spine made the same celebration sream and all! Hope you guys get to read this I know you have tons of comments but man it was like I was there congrats

Despite having seen the thumbnail and the intro for this season; I was anxious watching this one play out. Shifting wind; obstruction in the brush; moving bull; the pressure; tired early 3am start; wounded animal... I really felt for you fellas, but seeing you send the 2nd and then the 3rd arrow I really felt relieved for the animal, for Steve and for the BRO crew. While he was raking and bugling at close range in the thick stuff for 10 minutes...my heart was pounding almost as hard as really being there. Congratulations Steve!

Thats the way to get it done! Those game bags are going to be a game changer for sure especially when you are hunting solo. And for who ever give a thumbs down you have evidently never hunted elk!

Tough decision to stalk in for another shot...the advantage of having your brothers in the woods with you to work through these tough decisions makes all the difference. Amazing execution at the end Steve!!

Steve, Trent, Cody & Trevor, watching your hunt is truly inspiring as well as heartwarming as we all watched you four teammates and brothers working together for the same great experience, Congratulations to Steve for his first shot, you showed all of us what true sportsmanship is all about, I'm saddened that Dirk wasn't with you four that day & evening! I love watching you guys.

I can't imagine how stressful it must be to have cameras with you on a hunt, especially a hunt of a lifetime like that. Thank you so much for taking us on that amazing journey with you. Congratulations on a great bull!!

Great bull Steve. Love your reaction but the gobbler bull reaction is still #1.The team work and such great brother hood and that is what makes the BRO Crew stand out above the rest... Thank You for sharing your story with us. You have away of making me feel like I am there with you and that means the word to me. I am a vet and know am 100% disabled now and really miss being in the woods.Thank You... Maybe one day I will be able to afford one of your hats. No asking for anything free I am 60 and just get by but what else do you truly need. Thank you Trevor, Codie, Trent and Steve. I have not missed any of your video's that I know of. Again That You my friends.

As an Arizona Resident I’ve been in that same situation except I snuck up to get a second shot and it got up and took off. Two days after initial shot we found him wrapped up down a steep ridge. Went home with no meet. A nice six point that I never got it mounted because I was heart broken for loosing all that meat. I’m glad that you’re experience was much different Steve and great job on getting it done in my home state!

I definitely don’t agree with any comment that says Steve threw temper tantrums. I felt like he handled the huge stress pretty well. Congrats on a great bull and awesome teamwork!!! That footage was amazing!
