100%. A change of scenery is good for him. I hope we can find out what really happened with last year's team and their chemistry. It was clearly off and I am willing to bet all of it was not Caleb's fault.

Anyone who enters the transfer portal and transfers to another school, especially a school that he has no ties to, loses my respect instantly. If Caleb Love were so good, he would have jumped to the NBA just like he jumped ship at UNC. Filipowski is a real American. He committed to Duke, stayed loyal to Duke, and will probably play four years at Duke. He's the true definition of a student-athlete, not these mercenary ballers who are using these colleges and universities as stepping stones.

This is exactly why I'm such a huge College Basketball fan because the rankings carry weight but the best part about a college game is that the top ranked team can lose on any given night. Plus the best games are when an unranked team is playing a high ranking one because every player on that unranked team wants nothing more than to go out and upset a high ranking team.

I agree. The only annoying flaw of the game is the fouling and the end of the game. A game shouldn’t require intentional fouls. Game is slightly flawed.

Let's not overreact. Duke could've won that game. Wasn't like they got dominate. Arizona is experienced and a good team. Duke will be tough when it matters the most. John needs to play Stewart more, play young less. Reeves need to be the first big off the bech for Kyle.

@@kingcollins3965 Duke lost in final four 2 yrs ago to unc for the same reasons...playing too soft, not enough heart. Roach needs to be handling/running the offense, not Proctor. Roach has the experience. Scheyer has to coach better in these situations. It was an embarrassment to lose at home, poor play and poor coaching.

I need proctor to guard the best guards and get out in transition, and get buckets. Rebounds is the main issue Duke will have. They have to get on the boards. They lost to Arizona because they got beat on glass and especially offensive rebounds.

Lol, AZ shot more free throws and got a questionable out of bounds call to go there way. The ball hit the AZ player's finger last. I saw it on the replay, and AZ scored. Duke would have had the ball up 1 with less than two mins left.

Scheyer needs to play Reeves and Stewart way more, Ryan young is a huge liability on defense, he allowed too many easy buckets for Arizona and missed open bunnies when it mattered. Major props to Arizona tho, fast, experienced, savvy team. Boswell is a beast

Reeves looked terrible as well. Gave up 3 offensive rebounds. But Stewart definitely needs to be playing more. Proctor also has to be more aggressive. Duke had a chance to win, good thing is this is game one against a team with plenty of experience and to come out with competitive game is a good sign. Duke going to be tough late in the season when it matters.

For Proctor to be the lead guard he was very small this game. I’m a huge Duke fan but Proctor has to play better and Stewart needs to play more. We will have a great season and this game will make us better. #GoDuke

If he doesn’t play Reeves and Stewart, we are going to have a tough time rebounding this year. Flip isn’t aggressive enough yet and Ryan - as much as I love him - isn’t strong/ athletic/ agile enough to keep the elite bigs out of the paint.

Best coach in the country in Bill Self, great coaches like Sampson, Lloyd and insane programs….Kansas, Zona, Baylor, Houston, KState, TCU and OSU. Not a duke fan but what tf were they doing they had plenty of time to dribble the ball up the court they didn’t need to throw a hail mary pass. Final play of the national championship of nova v nc there was the exact same amount of time on the clock and they were able to dribble it up the court and set up the game winner
