Ark is truly a beautiful game, and deserves more attention than it already receives. In my opinion, I have never seen any videogame as textured, or beautiful as this game. If Ark hadn't been made, I wouldn't have gained an interest for dinosaurs 3 years ago

I was 12 when this trailer dropped. I was playing SE with my friends split screen in the basement and when I checked KZfaq on the Xbox we all went ballistic over the trailer. Nothing looked cooler to us. This was the last day of summer right before starting 6th grade I believe and now I’m 18 going into university still playing ark and going back to aberration once and awhile with the same friend. I love Ark and it will always be my favourite game.

Because apparently the DLC’s are the actual game. You download the DLC’s to have a story. As shown at the end, we’re given a glimpse at what Earth looks like. At the end of Aberration (after defeating the monster Rosswell) we zoom through portals and are transported onto Earth only to be shown that the Ark they tried to keep up on Earth malfunctioned and we are shown how desolate the Earth has become.

That was the launch trailer so they had more gameplay footage. The Ark 2 trailer was merely an announcement trailer and because Unreal Engine 5 isn’t out yet they can’t make any gameplay so there can’t be any footage

I was a bit stupid and purchased it in a bit of a rush coz it looked great. When I realised it was a DLC I spoke to Xbox and they kindly refunded my money.
