That cave would be so good for a small tribe! Easy enough to turtet up 2 entrances and more than enough space for tames 👌👌

i dont see how people can consider ratholes big enough for "base locations" there so small one can bearly fit what is needed to go anywhere in the game with .. MAYBE a smithy and a possible fab.. a couple storage but thats it..

I understand where you are coming from, but they are great if you are just starting out as a solo or small tribe on official or any high pop servers. Even if you don’t have the best defense they are still hard to find and easier to defend then your open base. And if you don’t want to live in one it is still important to know abt them to be able to find bases or people you are looking for. Thx for taking your time to write a comment 🙏🏼

how do ppl live in ratholes now without cryopod? where to put ur tames?

Thank you for the comment! Its different depending on the rathole, some might fit one or two smaller dinos, some ppl have a dino pen around the area. Depends on the tribe and the rathole. Bigger tribes might use it as a stash. And alot of ppl play unofficial where cryopods is a thing via mod. 😁

You said you lived yourself in the first rathole. Can you even fit a gen in there? to get 2-3 turrets inside? if not then how is it even possible to live there

Hello there! I was built in there on a server when I started out, I didn’t stay long enough to try to fit a industrial forge or a replicator. I did just put some turrets in the hole but also in the water outside :)
