This is a step by step Ark building tutorial for The Aviary Tower. This is a master level build guide, with lots of advanced tips and tricks.
In this video you will learn how to build a hugestone tower for Ark Survival Evolved using no mods. It works as an Aviary for your favourite flying dinos, like the Argy or the Tapejara.
This building walkthrough will work on PS4 and on Xbox One on official settings. This design was built in The Highlands of the Ragnarok map at coords 19.8 70.0.

Surprisingly small foot print on this one. I like it a lot, will be building this on the official I'm on where almost everyone is building big boxes. As a complementary structure, you could use various stable designs off the eight doors off the bottom floor. Maybe a ring wall. I'm looking forward to it, already getting lots of attention from your house boat design on the server.

Glass ceilings on top would be cool too. I built a tree platform in the Redwoods overlooking a lake. Glass greenhouse building in it so the view was unobstructed.

13:39 Yes, you can build in the space in between. Just start by placing door frames and then replace them with the material of your choice. Even with clipping disabled, it should allow you to place those just fine.

Great build! Very balanced, like how it turned out :) It's hard to transition between round and other tower shapes and make it look good but you pulled it off here!

Some how, lol. The first iteration looked too weird... I think it was too short and squat, so for the tutorial I really extended up the round base and the asymmetrical octagon above the first aviary. Once I did that the proportions suddenly looked correct and I jumped into recording this behemoth.

Yeah, balance is hard to get. :) The spiral staircase tower I did recently suffered from the same issue.. the top part went through a bunch of iterations before I was happy with it.

Finished crafting all the individual structures and I’m about to start the build! Love all your stuff, but this is next level. I’m attempting to build Helms Deep on Ragnarok and this is gonna be the tower for it. I’ll tweet you some pictures when it’s done. Hoping it all turns out how I’m envisioning it!

I have all fence foundations down but will not allow me to snap onto the secondary set in "pinwheel" It says exceeds foundation limit. This is the in the stage prior to your checking alignment in the beginning

I will try this with the castles mod as I do with most your other builds, since their walls are 1.5x higher it makes bigger buildings etc. :)

Oh hi welcome back. No I haven't yet got side tracked. I also redo a lot of Aaron Longstaff's stuff. Don't know if you tried CKF in many way easier and I think look better. Plus I found when making huge bases etc it doesn't lag the server hardly at all compared to S+. Thanks for the reply.

Thank you UTC I turned the top to glass room then them after I got the circle shape I got the flashlights from aberration I added glow sticks to my tapajaras because like you said they look like gargoyles so then I put the tapajaras along the tower walls to give it a fierce and uncivilized look and even after that I painted the tower to make it look like it was recently damaged so when people tried to attack me I set the tapajaras to agro and got my Rex’s out from the “raiders” because of the alliance we had so then as soon as we had them trapped we set raptors with all attack then after that we stole their loot and raided them.....then got destroyed by a giga

Absolute amazing build. Watching your guide as trying to build on ark mobile but when I try the snap point for the pillars to get the circle at 04:12 it says height is exceeded. It says this for any pilled I try to put between the other pillars. Is it because ark mobile doesn’t support proper circular towers?

I was reading your comment (I am building this on mobile as well) and had the same issue. I knew there had to be a way, so I tried some nifty pillar placement and finally managed to make it work. Basically after placing the stone foundation between the other two and the pillars on the snap points you can place the pillars, you go under the ceilings and place a wooden pillar a good distance outwards and use the camera to make sure it's aligned with the middle foundation at the top. Then after placing it, place a stone pillar at the bottom directly below the ceiling where it snaps behind the wooden pillar, and it should be centered between the two other pillars if you did it right and also the right distance outwards. It might take several tries, but once you have the pillar directly under the snap point of the fence foundation, you can place another pillar above it just fine and at the same height as the other two pillars.

It was beautiful, I added walls that stemmed from the buttresses and came together to form a pretty awesome circle/ segmented design. My tribe and I ended up leaving the server though. I would definitely build something like it again given the chance

Sadly not possible, but in creative mode there is a similar thing, it just doesn't work from far away like my magical abilities ;) you can get creative mode on console, right?

It took soooo many hours, there is a reason I got away from this! I probably spent 24 hours working to get it all done like this. Three full days of sitting at my PC! There will be more to come, but probably simpler designs than this!
