Tropical: Breath applies a non-scaling DoT (always 40 barring reductions). Touching water gives a buff that improves damage of melee and the breath attack (but not the DoT), movement speed (making them the fastest flier in the game), and a small regen buff (parking them in shallow water will heal them faster). Blood: Breath applies a DoT that slightly scales with targets HP. DoT slowly vampires HP from all targets hit to recover missing health. Eating a corpse instantly heals a flat amount (something around 100). Ember: Breath applies a DoT that heavily scales with targets hp, but herbivores take less. Hitting with the breath attack builds up a rage bar that greatly increases ALL damage dealt (melee, breath, AND DoT). They are essentially a generalist (Tropical), Tank (Blood), and pure DPS (Ember). All three wyverns are immune to their own breath attacks (Embers are immune to fire in general). Further their breath attacks all scale with Melee % unlike normal wyverns. They are faster and with much tighter turning ability then original wyverns. While all their other stats are lower compared to normal wyverns speed is the only stat that cannot be leveled on fliers making it much more valuable overall. On top of all that crystal wyverns are breedable meaning they can get far, far stronger then Scorched Wyverns given effort. These more or less render the original wyverns obsolete if you ask me.

The ember one have a rage meter that increases every time you use the breath, after mid point the breathe get a bit of blue effect on it and deals extra damege

Just a general wyvern tip: the wing flap is also really good at gathering cactus sap

Abilities are sick i just wish they used different designs for them instead of just a re skin of the regular wyverns like they couldve made the blue crystal wyvern amphibious and gave it the ability to swim and do steam breath underwater or something or maybe even plasma the slows down aquatic creatures so you can tame easier

a few things: The healing of the blood wyvern should apply also when biting; all the wyverns have parts that glow in the dark; Ember wyverns are found in Emberfall (the area with the red trees) but they often fly off to apotheosis (floating islands)

The ember Wyvern has a rage meter that fills up the more u use its breath. Once filled up completely its breath will have a mix of normal and blue colored flames that do more damage.

The ember crystal wyvern has a rage meter similar to the giga. Every time you breath fire the rage meter fills up almost 1/8 of the full meter. The higher the meter is the bigger and brighter the fire will be and the more damage it'll deal with it's breath.

I'm trying to find out if Turret Mode works with Crystal Wyverns, because I've got loads and I'd like to know if I can use them placed around my base to protect my perimeter walls. Can't seem to get it to work though.

Remember when I got a Poison Wyvern that would do like 3000 damage per poison attack took a lot of melee investments to boost it that high. It was awesome, being it had very long range as well. People often say it's the worst Wyvern and I have to agree definitely vs air targets. But man vs ground pounders that Poison is godly just because of it's long range attacks. I got really good at hitting targets from long range with it. xD

Even if your on full health the blood wyvern still does damage its also really good for killing other players
