Use your tek gauntlets ability to gather mutagel quickly, also put your mutagel in your hotbar so you can quick drop the junk. Hope this helps!

I just can't express how much I appreciate that your how-to's and info aren't running about in god mode in a manner that is unrealistic for those of us that actually want to play & experience the game.

The Crates on this map correlate to the Space biome depending on colour you can tell from the supply drops what is in space White: mutagel/ambergris Green: Crystal Blue: Sulfur Purple: Element shards Yellow: Obsidian Red:Oil Cyan: Element Dust Orange: Black Pearls

Tek Stryder(harvester/saddlebags) + dedicated storage with mutagel goes INSANE on those ambergris rocks

The reason why it spawned back at the spot you started is, that it needs a player actively rendering the zone to respawn. The respawn timer is 8 IRL hours for servers and 1h for single player

Almost every tool prioritises stone or ambergris in the space biome. However, if you use power punches, you can get lots of mutagel (~5/11 per rock) since it does not prioritise either ambergris or stone.

Just an FYI there is another way to get mutagel under the heart in Rockwell’s innerds in the acid pool when it clears up (cause it fills and empties every minute or so) there are small blue looking this on the ground that you can pick up they are the mutagel

Under rockwells heart there is an acid pond with a lot mutagel on the bottom, u can go with a whip and collect a bunch of them at the time, u only have to worry about tentacles and an ocasionally a seeker and of course the acid u get like 200 per run, they respawn REALLY QUICKLY u can litteraly run collecting them continously until the acid comes back

You can also get mutagel in Rockwell's stomach. After his acid recedes there are nodules of mutagel all over the ground, you have a short time to be able to drop down and grab it up. Can usuallyt get 20 to 30 a run, and the acid comes back and goes away relatively regularly. Bit more dangerous than farming ambergris rocks, but potentially a little faster since you dont need to stop and drop the junk every few rocks.

7:28 Not many people know this but use tek punch and quickly press your map and you can launch yourself with tek gloves. Very useful as you can go any direction rapidly.

I use a Mantis w/ a pick in space for my mutagel grind, I get about twice as much with a mantis as I did by hand or with an anky.

Omg.. I've been trying to figure out how to get mutagen for a little awhile now. Said screw this, I'm looking up a video and bam. As grindy as it's gonna be, this definitely helped me save time trying to figure it out myself. Thank you!

You can tell when the ambergris rocks are in space when the loot drops are white. Also, you get more mutagel with anything that harvests like a pick, that’s why the mining drill sucks, as it harvests like an axe. The best thing to get the mutagel is the tek super punch as it harvests like a pick and collects all of a resource node in one or two hits. This also works with your federation suit if your punch hasn’t been nerfed.

I found the tek punch produces more mutagel than the pick or mining drill does. And you can also fly with being over weight till you fill your bag up to 300.

Under Rockwells heart where the water rises and lowers there is quite a big spawn of mutagel that you can pick up. The mutagel respawns after the water rises and lowers usually... then you craft the mutagen

You can collect loads of mutagel where there the acid pool is under Rockwell's heart. You have to let the acid go down and there is tons of it down there. Just pick it up like berries.

You can also pick up mutagel from the acid pool below the final boss summoning console.

Magmasaur also works well. When creatures are not on the meteor surface, they move at their swimming speed in space. Strangly enough, the doedek is a pretty fast swimmer

You can now change it so that you can level up the flyer Speed stat in the options menu

Found this earlier, likely a glitch. There is a threshold as you are entering the zone where the game switches from loading the overworlds to loading the " caves" usually come with a slight shudder to flow blown lag on some systems. Any you can effectively dance back and forth on this threshold and it will spawn or despawn the mutagen. Tried it after getting it once, reloaded the zone a couple times and had the mutagen symbol went and found it but didn't farm it, went back and through the threshold again and it was gone.

If you put the gel on your hot bar, you csn drop inventory without dropping the gel. Also, it seems you can upgrade creatures with the gel itself for some reason

The colour of the supply drops indicates the resources in the space zone, so there’s no need to go into the space zone to see what resources there are, just find a supply drop and see what colour it is. Got this info from a KZfaq channel called raasclark, it’s all in his video.

You get a bit more with a Magmasaur (forgot how to spell it) and with the electable shards that come up in the space biome you also get more actual element with it if you use the mining drill you get more shards

Also. you can get the mutagel at the heart area in the meatzone, if you go my the acid and wait for it to go down

You can also get mutigel from hand gathering the black pearls from the asteroids when those are up.

There is a lot of mutagel in rockwells innards, they are under his heart in the poison water, wait for the water to go down than pick up the blue pebbles on the ground.

Can't wait to see the void wyvern video. Been trying for hour to tame that thing. I finaly know when to get on, but getting on is a pain in the behind.

Hey guys, this is the true coords list of the Mutagen Bulbs in the Rockwell Cave, has everything possible and I personally confirmed their spawn myself. What I personally did was put a Tek Remote Camera at every possible spawn location, now I can locate all 3 really quickly. There is a very small chance that the Mutagen Bulb glitch out and spawn under the ground, and this happened a total of exactly one time out of perhaps 60+ spawns. When that happens, get a server admin or ghost under the mesh to pluck it. Maybe a good advice. Put mutagel in hotbar. So you can just drop all and keep the gel

meta for space mutagel is to have a character with high melee dmg and punch it, don't worry about overloading and dump Ambergris and stone only once you are slot capped.

I'm sure Steve knows this already, but for anyone else...you can get absolute LOADS of black pearls and element shards in rockwell's innards. Just about every plant I hit in that zone gave me 4 or 5 different things, most notably BPearls and shards. So when you're flying around and aren't being chased by something, it's definitely worth it to chop down as much as you can! Also...if you see a plant shooting what looks like gas straight up into the air, don't go near it 🤣. I played aberration a lot and yet my curiosity still managed to get the better of me even though I should have known better, that gas choked me to death within seconds. It didn't even look like I was touching it, so just give it a nice wide berth. It's best to place a bed and storage outside of the cave, you will respawn with your federation suit so if you just put everything in that storage container before you go in you will have nothing to lose by dying!

Nooblets- there is also additional mutagel in the rockwell area- little blue sphere type things- these are located in the water under the heart- dangerous of course to get but theres loads

have you tested the mission effects to see if any od them make it spawn quicker?

Hi @nooblets, you going to have to make an other vid!!! you missed the real mutagel location!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Underneath Rockwell heart has this acid pool that goes up and down every couple minutes, which is full of little pure mutagel stones when it goes down!!!! Have to pick up by hand, stryder reaches only 10% of those little stones (and btw, the black pearls void biome also gives mutagel, but very little)

Not sure if someone's dropped some mutagen in the eden biome, but I picked 7 up from a single plant in the Eden zone, even Helena said something about us being able to use it.

If there is (Mutagel) below the heart will it it count that as Mutagen in the area? i casnt seen to find any when it says some is there

Power punching it is a pretty good way of getting mutagel

so far gen2 is grindy on yet a whole new level....wonderful.

All I found in the void was sulfer... till I hit the right rock lol. Mantis and a pick works best in my opinion

probably the best way to get the mutagen is the magmasaur on the asteroids. Those 3 mutagen that you can collect are basically nothing, the mutagen under rockwells heart ist pretty okay if you get it with a whip or miningdrill, but if you want to get the big boy deposit of mutagen, you'll have to go and farm those rocks on the asteroids with a magma and preferably a skiff for weight. I'm playing on a x5 server and my magma (just a few points leveled in dmg) hits sometimes up to 80 mutagel out of one rock. Divide it by 5 and you are still at 16 mutagel and there are pretty much endless suplies of rocks on that biom

Whenever the acid pool goes down, there is a buttload of mutagel down there grab it.

I found a glitched mutagen plant when you take the mutagen the plant doesn’t disappear so far I’ve gotten 125 mutagen in a span of an hour

you can tell what asteroids are in space by what color the loot drops are. green=crystal, blue=sulfur, pink=element, cyan=element dust, orange=black pearls, red=oil, yellow=obsidian & green red and blue gems, white=mutagel and ambergris

your faster going with a whip below rockwells heart you can get a decent amount there

overall the pickaxe gathers nearly the double that of the drill. Plus picks scale with melee dmg of course. Ascendant drills get like +20% dmg while Ascendant pickaxe like +100%. a good anky/mantis will be better than that drill anyday

Idk if it's like this for other Xbox players, but for me, summoners spawn in like groups of 40 all next to eachother and it lags so much and makes it nearly impossible to do anything in there

Am I the only one who found another mutagel spot? Under rockwells heart.. there is a acid pool.. if the acid is gone there are little blue "mushroom" like plants.. they give mutagel. Mining laser recommended, enjoy ✌
