Really solo you dont want big babes with all your stuff in it spread it out around the map in satellite bases or just build a metal platform and all the shit(indy forge, fabricator, chembench, ect.) Then you have instant production next to metal mountains and the whole server can use it so they probably wont blow it up

Omar619kamis Kamis I mean you get 20 metal per metal node and a vault needs over 350 metal ingots, you also need to smelt the metal which takes several hours, possibly a whole day, you also need a good base (keep it hidden and small so no one can raid you before you get the vaults, like a 2x2 or a 3x2), you need a fabricator with gasoline, so you need a furnace, which is pretty easy to get, you only need to grind for 10 mins for two furnaces, you need some oil and hide, and each 2 metal you get 1 metal ingot in a furnace. So basically if you get lucky you need 1-1.5 weeks for a vault and a really good base.

Omar619kamis Kamis it’s not possible for a solo to get tek, I know from experience, you need a lot of allies and good 100% imprinted rexes (max dino in boss fights is 10 and max players are 20), probably need a few months to get the Rexes with full imprint, also small storage boxes can be destroyed by swords and other melee weapons pretty easily, and it doesn’t store a lot of stuff, unlike the vault which can only be destroyed by explosives and it has 50k hp, and you can make a thatch base but put vaults on the ceilings so if someone destroys your ceiling the vault falls, and they then have to get through that. You can use that strat with metal bases too. Vaults in endgame are really easy to make, it’s just the struggle of grinding to mid-endgame. The vaults have 350 inventory space, more than the character inv space.

To get all the supplies to make this wooden base, it takes hours. Like I was level 30 by the time I had a full wooden base, I'm now level 60 with stone and turrets, I have 4 turrets as I got lucky and raided some guy who had em. It takes so long to get all the wood, fiber and thatch to make a good wooden base

Its not that hard like i get 1000-2000 wood with my castoroides and its just because of the x2 event

@@Vheone Not Too difficult to get to stone. starting out tame a trike with fists (slingshot once they fix the trikes) rush to tranq arrows tame a doed and beaver then set them on wander with the trike(s) running escort for them. they will wander around and collect. all you have to do then is offload them onto the trike as needed. meanwhile, you run around with raptor gaining EXP (note hunting preferably). Just stay relatively close enough to hop over and protect your stuff as needed. Killing a raptor has a chance to drop metal picks. the hardest part is the smelting time. paste you can get by taming a frog. Everything you need up to a fab in a 2x2x2 structure. I would build a 4x2x2 to keep at least the beaver and doed. You can be in a stone house and working on metal upgrade in less than 10 hours faster if it is during an evo event. biggest issue would be people harrassing your tames or raiders looking for an easy kill. getting turrets however needs you to have a water tame. a diplocaulus would be the best early game suggestion ORRRRR a strong enough mount to withstand the moshpit at the southwestern corner of the snow biome. the diplo is safer due to less chance of other people camping that area

I totally agree with you, also, by doing that you can fast travel around the map in no time, I make a lot of hidden bases all over the ark (although they are well defended) and then place a chest next to the bed to leave all my stuff before a fast travel and then grab my stuff again in the other side, it’s really efficient, specially in an offline ARK I did this in my personal offline ARK and farmed really quick
