I agree "boxer" can win the stalling race almost certainly. The real question is can the opponent end that round or not. If opponent crosses and there's no break it's not even close. If opponent can cross they also have no need to cause the break themselves anyway. But maybe it is a risk that "boxer" has to take to win the game.

The opponent can get to 99 with 1cp from last uni, and 1app+1cp from building a pavilion on rep. Then just need one point from a sponsor to end on the third break. Or adventure playground could end it immediately.

It's a playable line. Upside is slightly better income because of the kiosk. Downside is you have to spend an extra action to build the size 3 enclosure. Expert on Asia comes out in the first round anyway, although the pavilion placement is better for future rounds in your line. The question becomes is it worth an extra action for slightly better income. The argument against building single kiosks in general is that the answer is usually no.

It's okayish. Generally not a good line because it nets you only 2 extra income, the sponsor comes out with the build 3 anyways. If you can avoid the build 3 that way until you plop it down with a build 5 next round it would have been okay but I don't think the actions line up well for that. The thing is you want to build after the sponsor action to move up sponsors. Sponsors is generally your best action first 2 rounds which you want to move up as most as possible usually because you either have sponsors to play or want to end the round and gain some extra money. Single kiosk is almost always a bad move, you can get out the kiosk with upgraded build next round anyways and usually you just use 1 or 2 well places kiosks in a game anyway. (Later ones are more for filling map than income)

I'm sure that is his only motivation right now!

Problem is that on BGA you don't really face top players much. He constantly faces subpar players it seems.
