I get why some might get confused but the reality is that the Kaloud Lotus isn’t ideal for every brand, especially not ideal for Performance Tier tobaccos like Tangiers, Must Have, Trifecta, Haze among others. An expert pairs the best accessories to mat chi with the characteristics and nuances of the tobacco he packs.

Conversely, had I packed a Beginner Tier tobacco such as Starbuzz, Chaos, Element and so on, then I’d definitely have chosen the Lotus instead. Expertise is knowing what tool to use and when.
