I wish there were more men like you in the world, men who take responsibility and who stand up for women and children against those sick SO's. Same deal brother! Dad was an outlaw biker, had no fear of consequences. At 7 yrs old he was on the front page of the paper for murder. Anyway I've been in and out of recovery for 20 years. Locked up for 7 yrs all together. Anyway man how about a shout out. 5 years clean on Sept 11th off a 200 dollar a day IV heroin habit.

Similar upbringing as jimmy. Walking in on pops shooting up. My father loved me and was always good to me. But he died of hep c/liver failure the weekend before I turned 12. He was my best friend, hell I still think my childhood friends liked him more than me. Anyway I’m not trying to make this about me Im just saying I can relate, and I appreciate the work y’all are putting in.

I just recently started watching your videos jd and ive been an addict my whole life until i lost someone that made me tired of losing everything i have because of drugs. It's so awesome to see it becoming more widely acceptable to be open about recovery. I've been sober a little over a year now, and I just want to say how grateful I am for the work people like you and Jimmy do, especially with my personality issues. Definitely feel more welcome watching y'all. Keep it up and stay safe, gentlemen.

Damn, this dude is freaking AWESOME! I don’t live in the US so I’m always a bit surprised to hear how things over there can be wildly different from state to state. It’s sad that there’s still states and countries that do not see addiction as an illness and instead just as punishable offense. These people need help and if they are at a place where it’s obvious that they never will get out of their addiction they at least should be given a safe and clean area to take their drugs and easy access to heroin or substitution programs. I hear people whining about the expenses for doing this but trust me, those expenses are nowhere near the expense to society when drug users have to commit crimes to get their next fix. That’s the only way for most of these people.

If places want people in treatment there should be a place you can go 24/7 to register and start Methadone. Suboxen needs whatever opiate/opioid to be out of your system so you can’t take it right away, I don't think it's as good. 🤷🏼♂️ I bet there are a ton of people who would enter a program like that given the chance. Most people are terrified of the withdrawal and would jump at the chance. Especially if they are coming from a previous legal prescription. Anyone who is an addict, I bet you have thought about it until you hear the waiting list times. Perhaps it's better in some places.

Jd I have an interesting question I am unsure how to words this without it getting taken down, so let’s say there was a predator of a certain nature but there intended target wasn’t women or kids. What would the prison populations reaction be to a predator who just like 6’1 to 6’5 big ole gangster men who put up a fight ? Because the idea of this big bubba type individual makes the addict in me who was raised in St. Louis wanna keep his laces so tight till he dies
