Yall dumb af. To overturn the call, Arkansas had to have a clear recovery. It was a fumble but nobody covered the football. You cant just gift them the ball.

At minimal, Auburn should've been attempting that field goal 8 yards farther back. What an awful call. If you watch the play, the umpire was looking at it and he didn't blow it dead until the referee kept blowing his whistle from the near said. He knew it was a fumble, but after he kept hearing the whistle, he blew it dead as well. What's bad about this is one of the former SEC officials were on tv and when they go through training the one thing they tell them is let the play go through. We can always review it, but NEVER blow the whistle prematurely. That's what stunk, is this is on the referee who didn't even have the best view of it.

Sam Pittman has been known for years at one of the nations top recruiters. The way he has Arkansas playing this year, give him a few years to get his guys in. Remember he's playing with the coach's players that didn't win an SEC or Power 5 college football game in two years.

As an auburn fan I can say that Arkansas definitely won that game, that lost call was a terrible call and it was an obvious fumble and we got lucky. And Arkansas deserved that game more, they played with more heart and passion and auburn was out there playing like they didn’t care.

@@Andrewazar2024 I think that is really admirable of you to admit that. It isn't easy to acknowledge that about your own team. And I agree that it was a bad call, but it should have never came down to that. My team (Arkansas) had the ball back with a little over 2:00 minutes to play, and we were ahead by 1 point. There is no excuse why we couldn't run the clock out. That was horrible execution by the offense to go 3 and out, and give it right back. So, in my opinion, it was the failure of our offense to even be in that situation to begin with.

The AP and Coaches Poll voters had them in the top 15, so I call them that until they drop or rise. So yeah, are they truly top 15? Maybe not, but that's where they are

Watching the replay Nix's arm never was in foward motion. The referees were the only individuals who determined the play to be an incomplete pass. CFB coaches should be able to challenge calls like the NFL. Arkansas clearly got screwed.

I like how they say there was no immediate recovery when our guy IMMEDIATELY goes after the ball, and falls on it. How is that not immediately going after a fumbled ball? There was no hesitation at all. Wow.

Punters need to practice the 2-step punt for when you're punting from the back of your own endzone. That's how my dad taught me, but my Jr. high coaches were not impressed with my unorthodox style and I never got to punt.

Lotta rules experts missing something. "If the replay official rules fumble, the ball belongs to the recovering team at the spot of the recovery and any advance is nullified. ... If the ball is ruled dead and the replay official does not have indisputable video evidence as to which team recovers, the dead-ball ruling stands." When they stopped it all, I saw an Arkansas player on the ground and an Auburn player standing over him and both had hands on the ball and thats continuing until long after the whistle. Didn't have indisputable evidence of a recovery, play stands as called, grounding even tho it was clearly a fumble.

I'm not a rules expert, but shouldn't that last play by the QB be ruled either a fumble or an intentional grounding?

It was ruled an intentional grounding, which resulted in a loss of downs. So it made it 4th down, and auburn kicked the field goal to win. It should have been ruled a fumble and Arkansas' ball though.

As an Arkansas fan, yes. I am upset about this. However, Arkansas did not play a perfect game. If they'd of kicked the extra points we go to OT. if we don't go 3 and out we win. Yes that call was wrong as people below and above me have said. But this shows a change in Arkansas. They will be pissed off about loosing this game. They should beat themselves up over it. But you have to be in that situation to know how to handle it better. Better now than in a more important game.

The reason why auburn didn’t blow them out because auburn hired chad Morris as the offensive head coach and he was at Arkansas when they where 2-12 and our offense was pitiful

Auburn won calls were calls and usually when auburn plays as well we get calls killed yeah I remember their match ups with lsu but yeah a win is a win it didn't matter if ark won because auburn still has the advantage over them in meetings.

Right! There was no immediate recovery so if they ruled it a fumble Auburn still would've had the ball without the 15 yard penalty

@@theman1412 It needs to be immediate. If he did recover it was well after the whistle blew. Not saying the refs didn't blow it though. The whistle should have never been blown because that was an obvious fumble and I'm an Auburn fan

We haven’t given excuses? Straight sucked no other way to put it. This team has heart though and deserved to win this game. The qb fucked up TWICE and the refs didn’t notice EITHER ONE. I agree with you as well. I'm a Auburn fan as well. He over throws everyone all the time and can't throw to save his life. The only reason he got the QB position is bc his dad was a QB . He sucks badly. I wish we had a different QB
