You can still move your lower control arms forward to the max if you want to. Adjust the front cams so the bolts are positioned towards the inside. I would move the tires all the way forward since you have a high clearance front bumper. It’ll help with rubbing at the rear of the tires.
@ArkansasOffroad

Great video. Sick looking truck! Minor correction for 20:07 - Caster is determined by the relationship between the UCAs and LCAs, not just how forward the wheel is. Moving the wheel forward with the LCAs increases positive caster but doing the same with those SPCs actually takes some positive caster away. This is not necessarily a bad thing as the wheel still moves forward and it brings caster back closer to factory specs

I have some spacers coming in the mail right now. I hate this rubbing thing on the upper arm....I should have done more search about this arms before I pulled the trigger. my camber is maxed out according my alignment guy, these spacers better save my ass.. Those rims must be a lot lighter... Because generally speaking the bigger the tire the it heavier ways. Tires usually always outweigh the rims if you go with aluminum that is. Steel wheels would be a different story. I worked in a tire department for 5 years and never felt a bigger rubber tire that was lighter.

I know that you have your reasons as to why you went with 16" wheels. I wished that I could had kept mine. However, you may run into the same issues I had when I went with 35"s. I've regard with 4.88's and slapped on some KM3's and totally smoked my front pads in less than 10K miles. So I had to upgrade to a big brake kit. Powerstop. They're pretty big. 17" wheels were the minimum size I could go with.

It's been my experience with the taco, is,that it doesn't do well at rock climbing and going through big puddles is the worst. I prefer v8 . The power is undeniable. I have a 2005 taco and it is real slow. Can't wait to get me a v8 in the summer and I will be able to send this truck to the junk yard 👍👍👍

Bigger tires don't mean shit when it rubs into your fender well while flexing. it doesn't give much of a lift. A bigger tire compliments better when you have a actual suspension lift with modified shackle hangers, gear ratio change, lighter durable rims, and longer springs/leafs. Real off roading consists of that type of setup for flexibility and definitely height clearances as it should be for.

Your SPC should be set at setting "G" that is the SPC ball joints forward. Both LCA cams should be set so you tires are moved all the way forward! Then your alignment shop needs to use the sliding adjustment to get you Camber correct and that would give you the Maximum clearance for the Cab mounts and the pinch welds. You have them set O.K. and it works. But it is Not the Optimum setting for the SPC to make full use of their adjustability!

I started there for the first alignment, but it was pulling super bad to one side. I had my lowers maxed, and it on G, but it wouldn’t go straight. And there wasn’t enough adjustment in my camber on my UCA’s still for some reason. I was still super positive camber, being maxed on my upper so they had to adjust the lower. Putting on a new lift soon, so I’ll go through the process again lol. Thanks!
