As a doktah who have played and enjoy AK since april 2020 i can confidently say that AK is one of those gacha games that is f2p friendly while also isnt a cash n grab lewdfest. The only outfit that show the skin more are the summer outfit and even then it doesnt overly on the lewd side more on fashion and breathtaking style, and also making them lookin so beautiful that you might stare at it for hours

i mean genshin also has deep lore with many references to mythology and religion from many cultures and the devs also put alot of effort on alot of things like smooth in-game visuals, character demos, and especially the music i mean heck they partner up with a bunch of different orchestra groups

Yeah, as a F2P player, I have a whole host of outfits in Arknights. The only thing Genshin has over Arknights in regards to outfits is that Arknights doesn't have the outfits available at all times

I'm fine with the cell shaded, but I feel bummed the game doesn't have any other playable body models than the ones already available.

I think there's no matter which fantasy it is, what genre even it is, in both of the games the main species is humans, who are warriors. While in the arknights operators may wear not the most practical outfits, they all wear something that makes sense for the situation and time. And it's the main point. Genshin characters wear outfits that doesn't make sense in particular cases. It's (in the most part) unhistorical, impractical, and it's just a fan-service for a fan-service. And ayato looks not like a feudal-japan prince, but like an 18 y.o. never seen a gym cosplayer with fancy jeans straight from 1980s.
