She is a good limited operator, but she needs to meet certain conditions like getting true damage through being blocked by herself or by her spear for her S3. Or deploying a Kazimerz operator first then Nearl Alter next to have no increase of cooldown redeployment for her S2. Overall she is a good limited operator who is balanced and I want to roll for her after rolling for Ch'en Alter on the global 2nd anniversary banner and event.

And the pure damage doesn't even help that much against enemies with less than 1k defense since she already deals an insane amount of damage (kinda like Skadi, but better lel)

The conditionals add a lot more fun cause sometimes just dropping a surtr or thorns can get boring I mean it's effective but it's boring so an op with conditions are welcomed by me

late reply but the first thing u said is kinda dumb since no shit she has to block someone to deal true damage, thats stating the obvious mechanic so it isn't really a hindering condition. second, she herself counts has a kazimierz operator so as long as you dont deploy anyone else after nearl, there won't be a cooldown increase

No hate for Ch'alter, but for me all limited operators should be like Nearlter. She's great but still in a balanced way, not just oogabooga big damage+big debuff+ammo mechanic in one skill. Her s1 is perfect for lane-holder purpose but balanced with 1 block (inherent negative of all dreadnought guards), her s2 is great for helidrop but balanced in increased redeployment time (mitigated by the need of deploying kazimierz operator before her), and her s3 is great boss killer skill with true damage but balanced in that you need either her or the "Blazing Sun" to block the targeted enemies. Overall I very much love Nearlter, both in her gameplay and lore. Definitely will pull for her when she comes to Global

I really like her design. She's not generally strong, but can be super strong on her niche (true damage, extra block, longer range attack, or Fast Redeploy-ish with 2nd skill) I hope they keep using this kind of design for future operators instead of one skill that does everything

She attack like Bagpipe s3, as well as the lighting effect, it make sense because they both use spear or lance. But Nearl's weapon looks more magical and quite flashy, it might be forged by great Kazimierz weaponsmiths

Skill looks Good but can probably be countered by having Crowd of enemies in her, specially with the expanded range(ex: Her summon is blocking Boss/Elite enemy but theres another Enemy closer to the blue box, like the mephisto part of the vid). Better off be using her S3 in 1v1 situations only. We're yet to see her Performance in CC tho. Nice Vid.

@Leon Uraijire That's why i put "by having - in her" in the context(assuming that there are already other enemies that's in her range) And point out that it'd be better that you won't let an Enemy aside from the main target be on her Range.

So its seems like she can deal huge amount of damage but her weakness is enemys who are unblockable or are hard to deal when blocked (also enemys with huge HP or crowded)

Yep, similar to other Duelist Guards. Thankfully though she also gets DEF increase on her S3, and the Brilliant Sun helps blocking issues partially.

Just for consistency since some enemy’s buffed stats are shown (patriot and rat king defense) Patriot phase 1 has 1600x(1+0.5+0.2)=2720 attack Mudrock shield increases her hp by 50% while active(67,500) Mandela shield gives 60% physical and arts damage resistance. Of course, only mudrock’s buff realistically matters here, since nearl s3 deals true damage to enemies blocked by herself or her summon.

The sword will be summoned on random tiles and they cant be block thus only physical

@@seina1404 well indeed surtr wins with the crowd just like exu mows down a crowd with s3 but if we're tslking about a single target stunable ash wins so for 1v1 lets see who's winning

@@Kaes.R depends, if the target's def too low then exu wins, around 800 def ash wins, and if over 1200 def they are tie with not even hurting the target

@@seina1404 according to viktorlab the skill dps of exu on 1200 def is 286 while ash on stuns 1893... Buffed/debuffed or nah Ash still deal the most but keep in mind im talking about *the enemy is stunable* (for comparison watch 25th's comparison on patriot 1st phase, even buffed)

Range increase and block 2 summon is a nerf for her skill lmao, and no focus targetting makes it worse if it's not a 1v1 condition or if it's a lane with mobs moving. Anyway balanced, so she's not a must pulls ops.

Surtr wins up until 52 RES I believe, but Surtr also hits AOE, helidrops, and has her undying talent.

It's not always true damage, it's only true damage when blocked by herself or blazing sun, otherwise it's physical

her archetype is called "duelist" for that reason. also it's m3 do you expect it to be weak?

As long as the boss is easily blockable, Nearlter works well. But I mean if you can easily block them you can even have Skadi unless their DEF is also very high like Rat King, or they apply a debuff when directly targeted like Talulah
