Arknights - Male Only IS Hard Mode Bosses

Holy shit this gamemode is stealing all my free time lmao. I hope they bring it back later. This video is men fighting Faust, Frostnova, and Skullshatter. Other bosses were just too boring (except Colossus, who is a piece of shit and I hate it)
I didn't wanna record a full run video, cause no storage space on my computer. Also, sorry that the audio got weird again, I have no clue what the trigger is that causes it.
Faust is a fun and easy boss to fight. Frostnova is a fun and hard boss to fight. Skullshatter is a boring and hard boss to fight (I call SS boring cause the stage itself is lame. Also, as a side note, I used the wrong Sesa skill lmao)
As for Male Only IS runs in general, there's so many things that screw me over. A few examples:
Too many supporter tickets
Defender + medic beginning (No DPS defender hurts, but I feel like most anyone would get screwed by this)
Specialist + medic beginning (This combo forces me to go Aak + Ansel usually, and that either goes very well or very poorly. Wish I had a pusher)
A list of buffs I had for each boss is listed below:
Faust:
Enemy +20% Atk/Def/HP
Friendly units have +5 dp cost (2 - 3 + 5)
Deployment limit +4 (2 + 1 + 1)
+30 Starting DP
Squad Size Limit +1
Friendly units have +16% Atk/Def/HP (3 + 8 + 5)
Defenders have -3 dp cost, +40% max hp, -1 block, +40% atk, +40 atk speed (screw that -1 block item)
+8 SP upon deployment
Redeployment time of vanguards -50% (If I had chosen the other coconut half, I could have spammed Chiave ;-; But I didn't)
Frostnova:
Enemy +12% Atk/Def/HP
Bosses additional +16% Atk/Def, +36% HP
SP gen of auto recovery skills +0.2/s
Deployment limit +3
Squad size +1
Melee units have +25% atk
+18 SP upon deployment
Guards have -3 dp cost, +40% HP
Enemies have -12% def
Enemies have -15% hp
Specialists have +40% atk/def
Skullshatterer:
Enemy +12% Atk/Def/HP
Bosses additional +16% Atk/Def, +36% HP
SP gen of auto recovery skills +0.2/s
Squad Size +5 (1 + 2 + 1 + 1)
Deployment Limit +1
Friendly units have -1 dp cost (2 - 3)
Friendy units have +40% defense (15 + 25)
Friendly units have +8% Atk/Def/HP (3 + 5)
Enemy units have -12% atk
SP cost of vanguard skills is -35%
Medics have -2 DP cost and +60% HP
Melee units have +35% atk
Specialist units have +30 ASPD
Enemy units have -15% def

The last part was going by so fast I had to slow it down to make sure if FB got the last hit 😂 These runs are amazing, I’m so glad you were able to do this for IS. Immaculate content as always 💖 Side note: any chance you could do artifact showcases for specific ops? I hear that some IS collectibles make certain ops really strong so that would be interesting to see showcased on some of the male ops

Haha, I find Skullshatterers stage so boring that I completely forgot about FB getting the last hit xD Just wanted to get it over with And yeah, I can try to find some fun things to do. Off the top of my head, there are some wicked strong combos for Guards, Chiave, Greyy, and Fast Redeploys, among others. I did a meme Faust run at one point where I had Sharp kill Faust in 4 hits, but I forgot to record it ;-;

@@zane7697 ooo that sounds awesome, looks like we missed out then. I know that the Royal Liquor, Water of life, and Berren’s Tequila are really good for ops like hung, fb, and even thorns, yet I haven’t seen a showcase regarding those yet haha. but yeah the caster aspd one works well since most of the male casters are aoe casters and literally all the specialist upgrades make Jaye a god lmao

@@israyantidien4287 stop comparing them. SilverAsh is a helidrop/timed nuke and Thorns is a stationary dps who requires 30 hits to even activate his skull which usually isnt good against hordes of strong enemies unlike SilverAsh s3. Verdict is they're different and shouldn't be compared. Also, as an M9 SA owner his s2 is far better at tanking pretty much anything.

@@longlivemetaldude hes talking about how he even had the courage to E2 the most niche/off meta 6 stars aka Aak and Hung. Aak cant survive without a medic and Hung just is a terrible healing defender if he doesnt have a puncher on him at all times. I have raised 6 stars before and good lord it's so painful to upgrade them, especially considering how much mats for Mastery and the copious exp and LMD it takes. Raising Dobermann, BeeHunter, Mousse, Haze, Click, Myrtle and other 4 stars didnt give me this kind of mental whislash.

@@marielcarey4288 bro you are underestimating Aak and Hung too much. Aak is still an amazing buffer with respectable damage and utilities and Hung is still a great core defender (which is how you supposed to use him).

@@isleep7262 I still think Hung is garbage, but Aak is definitely insane. I have him E2 now and I'm considering M3ing his S1 and S3. S3 for memes and S1 just because its so fun to use.

when you have better RNG on male only than me, who have either good ops but bad RNG on event trigger OR have bad RNG ops but good RNG on event trigger
