Vigil Showcase (Welfare 6* Vanguard Tactician
1st Talent (Elite 2):
Can summon a Wolf Pack with two "Wolf Shadows" initially to assist in combat from a Tactical Point, and the amount of "Wolf Shadow" increases by one every 25 seconds (max. 3; each "Wolf Shadow" increases the Wolf Pack's Block by 1 and its attacks deal an additional hit)
2nd Talent (Elite 2 Potent 5):
Vigil and the Wolf Pack ignores 200 Defense when attacking enemies blocked by the Wolf Pack
1st Skill (Level 7):
Immediately obtains 7 DP and one "Wolf Shadow"
2nd Skill (Level 7):
Immediately obtains 2 DP, and increases the Attack of the Wolf Pack's next attack to 170% and restores 15% of its Max Health Points; If the Wolf Pack defeats an enemy, obtains 1 additional DP
3rd Skill (Level 7):
Gradually obtains 11 DP during the skill duration, and change attacks to triple strikes; When Vigil and the Wolf Pack attacks an enemy blocked by the Wolf Pack, deals additional Arts damage equal to 30% of the Wolf Pack's Attack

0:39 one thing we see but not mentioned is when the wolf pack's hp is 0, it revive itself instantly but -1 wolf shadow (still return to 0 block and revive after a while if defeated without the wolf shadow)

Yep, although when retreated it loses all heads and only revives with one, so you can't really heal it like that unlike other tacticians.

@@slonik0002 tbf HG probably thinks it'll be too broken if it revives with all three heads, that's like reviving a semi-Defender or something

@@dalgona4819 Yeah, well unfortunately as it stands now he's considered a very weak 6* thanks to his wolves being too weak. They only have 317 defense, not really much of a defender sadly.

To be fair the entire style of Arknights doesn't really conform with it various modern day contemporizes, especially the anime. The setting and style reminds me of the 2000s era in general. I do like how it is distinctly different. A lot of modern anime style, while looking nice, also feels a bit samey.

All guns use arts in Arknights. Literally all of them require percise control of arts to propel and detonate the payload from the gun

@@shadows_star Yes, but the difference between regular guns and Absinthe's gun is that Absinthe's gun is just a lookalike wand that fires arts instead of the complex art units guns are since they fire projectiles.

When Vigil are reveal, i though it will cost lots of orundum cuz I'm aiming to get Mylnar and Stainless. But Vigil is free and I'm relieve. Definitely build for him.

@@hungerquest7862 there is gamepress for Operator information, or if you seen the features character at limited banner in this event is usually just 2 six stars Operator which is Penance and Texas Alter, that's sign you will get Vigil as free operator although you need to clear some stages first to get him.

whew s3 actually hits pretty hard. Might actually be a good operator for general use unlike the other Tacticians who are really only worth over regular Vanguards in very specific situations/challenge runs

@café I don't know man. Six stars are kind of sus for IS because of how much hope and set-up it can take to get one going. I can't see myself going for him over like, bagpipe if I was going to invest in a vanguard for a IS run

@@shadows_star Yeah the only Vanguards that I would bother using for IS that isnt the free ones are Myrtle and Bagpipe. Myrtle because she can print alot of dp and she comes with a regen. Bagpipe because I you can use her as a semi dreadnought guard if she is E2 with S3. Even then Bagpipe isn't really worth the hope for her E1, when it can be used on other units.

Because that summon still there, but the tile is frozen So you need to retreat vigil to gain it back

He looks above average. He’s perfect. And with m9 he’ll probably be great. Tho penance…seems to have powercrept mudrock, which I never thought I’d say.

Vigil is pretty promising but ultimately he falls very short compared to other operators imo. All he has is subpar DPS and subpar DP/s, plus no crowd control. And no Mudrock is still pretty much better by Penance by a large margin, though Penance's 11k shield is also pretty broken in its own right

@@qurt5101 TBF, his DPS with S3 is pretty strong - if the wolf can block. Which it can’t since it’s incredibly squishy, and most elites/bosses will have no problem killing it, and those that can’t are usually weak enough to not warrant such high dps anyways.

@café Definitely not better than Blacknight, her sleep utility is insane and a huge contribution to stuff like high risk CC. It's one the most meta sleep skill, which is saying a lot considering how little synergy sleep has.

@café dude, in high CC mostly it's for stall and recover because how buffed the enemies is, so having more time to stall are better since your strongest dps are become *3 and sometimes you need multiple redeploy to getting em killed, so having more status affected ablity are better

it took years to get a single welfare sniper and an ACTUAL DP-Gen Vanguard with Kroos Alter and Texas, Now there's an Operator that can do both. can't wait to get him in Global, he's getting M9'd ASAP

If you're talking about damage then Vigil but if your talking about who's Tankier then it's Beanstalk. Despite of Vigil's Wolfpack having three HP it only has 1100 HP per HP bar and Beanstalk's metal crab has significantly more HP and Defense.
