The song Kob' is the first step of the immersion into the abyss, the step marked by digging the long-buried, forgotten past, primordial evil out of the grave, and the funeral of its resurrector - Humanity. The video provides a visualization of the song, shrouded in the occult darkness of how that all is taking place. Watch it and taste the poisonous fruit of the dark essence of existence.
The filming was conducted in September - October 2022.

Welcome back! You know, in metal there are many bands that advertise their singers for being women that growl and that is pretty much all there is to see. With Arkona, it is not about growls or looks, it is about the music and the music is sensational. I have to admit that the more you lean into black metal the more interesting your music becomes. This song right here is something else. So happy so see you back! Long life to you.

Arkona may be one of the few bands who started to get more extreme when they already had a very well established career. I personally love the new direction. They're killer live band too, try to check them out if you can

@@TheSkilfingar Leider tun viele Metalbands das aber nicht. Es gibt so viele Bands, die alle die gleiche Schiene fahren. Ich meine mit "sich von der Masse abheben" mal etwas neues zu wagen. Etwas, dass in dieser Hinsicht noch NIE dagewesen ist. Warum nicht mal Metal mit Saxophon? Oder Black Metal mit Trompete? So macht man auf sich Aufmerksam... Indem man sich was traut. 😉🤟

@@SinnOcenc3 Ich verstehe ehrlich gesagt nicht was du damit meinst, dass viele Metalbands "die gleiche Schiene" fahren. Das wird aber wohl daran liegen, dass es Genres gibt. Ich bin kein Fan von allzu viel "was Neues wagen". Mal sehen wie das neue Album hier ist.

Arkona's new album promises to be unlike anything they've released for so many years. And the theme song, Kob', is proof of that. The band is showing its macabre, darker and bloodier side in this song and added to the music video, it forms an atmosphere of pure terror. To Masha, Sergey, Kniaz, Volk and newcomer Alex Smirnov, thank you for yet another gigantic masterpiece. You do justice to being one of the great world highlights of Pagan Metal. oh boy, this is already to start to grow deeply in me. Altough i miss some of the most "obvious" folk parts, i can see this album being a deep, brutal, dark and rich experience. Im not even a big black metal guy, but this seems promising already :)

I liked the story this video tells, because apparently whether pagan or Christian we can agree on one thing; raising the dead is generally a Really Bad Idea. They never act the way you think they will, and it always gets awkward and messy and...yeah. Just don't. I felt as though Masha was the priestess telling the story and basically saying "I warned him what would happen, but did he listen? No. So he got what he had coming for being an idiot." I may be wrong, there, of course, since I don't understand Russian. Excellent song and video, in general.

Мне очень нравилась группа Темнозорь в её лучшие годы за крайне хорошее сочетание стилей паган и блек в музыке, что они делали. Это задаёт неповторимую атмосферу. Ludzie a państwo to dwie różne rzeczy. Arkona dawała jasno do zrozumienia, że są przeciwni tej bratobójczej walce, po części to ona ich popchnęła ku jeszcze mroczniejszej muzyce.

A lot of symbology in this video can be related to modern day in Rus..... A man tries to dig up the past to find his lost love. Only to realize things can never be the same again. A new life has been found in the decaying beauty of his lost love, and she no longer needs him. She will create her own circle, and determine her own new destiny. She does not need the man attached to old times, she is reborn, and it is time to move onward, again.

If only you could come to the area between Cologne and Liége as headliner. I´ve discovered you really late with Khram, but since that day ARKONA is one of my all-time-favorite-Bands! Как то да, слишком контрастно с пережней Арконой, думаю это связано с тем, что они стали ездить именно на западные фесты, там и платят побольше, хотя некоторые треки с альбома Храм мне очень нравятся, но вот рот с кровью и тд не понимаю, хотя и слушаю некоторые песни Behemoth, именно для Арконы это не характерно, не идёт им

Ничего себе блэк клип, ребята... :) Даже чуточку чересчур на мой вкус. Не потому, что есть кровь, кости и т.п., а что в некоторых сценах они выглядят просто напиханными туда побольше для шок-ужастик эффекта, то же самое с корпспейнт макияжем, кровавым ртом и сумасшедшим взглядом. Как-то неоригинально, неславянски, больше блэк стереотип, чем Аркона. Но, и это большое и самое главное НО - песня великолепная. Так держать! Ждем вас опять в Сербии!

Верно подмечено. Это совсем не по славянски. Да, славянское язычество местами тоже было довольно жесткое. Но вот это наверное, больше по фински, как мне кажется. Что, впрочем, совсем не странно для потомков различных финских народов, пусть и славянизированных в какой - то мере. 🙄

Мне очень нравится, как изменилась Аркона. Начиная с альбома Явь, они начали играть более интересную и разнообразную музыку. И зазвучали намного оригинальнее своих коллег по pagan metal-сцене. А альбом Храм для меня стал чуть ли ни любимым вообще в метал-музыке в целом. Очень жду новый альбом. Творческих успехов Марии и сотоварищам!
