Like Ma'am, you're supposed to be one of the pillars of Snehznaya, one of the strongest people in the world. Getting no diffed by a child you raised after beating her up is crazy. They were hiring ANYONE for the most important role weren't they? Absolutely ridiculous. At least we got the Knave to replace that bum.

I mean there's many cool characters that are villains, Joker, Darth Vader, Vaas, Raul Menendez, the list goes on. Sometimes I like the villains more than the main character or the good guys.

Not at all, that's the entire point. They need to overshadow the MC to provide tension, stakes, and a goal to the story. That's basic storytelling.

It kinda adds more sadness when you think that Arlecchino/Peruere probably didn't want to kill Clervie, because her reaction when she "stabbed" Clervie was shock not serious like she knew that she'd have to stab Clervie. Clervie probably knew that Peruere didn't have the heart to kill her, so she decided to take matters into her own hands, by stabbing herself with the sword, and hugging Peruere as a goodbye, leading to Peruere being shocked by it (Idk if that was explained but this is just my take on it😅😢)

With so many couples/friends killing the other, I’m surprised there aren’t any instances, where the friend they killed, comes back from the dead as a worse threat. They aren’t a hero anymore. They came back for revenge/to teach their killer a lesson. Then, either kills them in revenge, or changes them through fear that they can’t just kill them anymore. Consequences.
