After the Story ends, i really like Arlecchino even more and she basically was our Partner in crime basically, with Lyney as her Successor, and glad Childe really Understand that the "Arlecchino was bad" Was for Crucabena, Not Peruere, And also they now understand each others and become true Co-Workers and Friends too with The Traveler i think Next, Traveler will gain more Harbingers Partners, it's frickin Obvious, but hope next is Capitano... The Strongest added to our list ✨💥 ignores Dottore, he's too unhinged and Wicked af...

The story quest is one of my favs alongside Neuvilette, Nahida, Ayaka, Yoimiya and more. It gave me quite a depression as well. After the story ends, I used Lyney to give her an army's salute by shooting a Pyro arrow into the air where Clervie died. Rest in peace, Clervie. You are the cutest warrior ever.😭💕

I actually really like how consistent Arle's character writing is. I was fearful that they will change key aspects of her character to make her more likeable, but this time we truly get a morally ambiguous awe-inspiring figure, even when she really cares about her children, she still feels strict and serious and the intimidation factor isn't watered down. Apart from all this she still comes off so genuine and straightforward, she has truly won my heart. Also I love that mihoyo is putting the dark aspects of the verse more forward with this quest.

I came in expecting her to be very evil in some manner. The truth was: she was a pragmatic, yet caring person. Albeit, she does punish her 'children', but the truth is that all parents punish their children if they did something bad. She had a rough life growing up, but that one friend changed her perception on everything wrong with the place. She wanted to change it for the better. She may appear cold, uncaring and cruel. The truth is that once you dig in deeper, she is a caring mother, well Father, of a person. That last move though, I am more curious of where it will go after Fontaine.

Amazing story quest overall!

How old is Arlecchino? From the current events the duel took place when Clervie was 16 Arle is probably the same age. Plus 1 year after the death of "mother" then plus 5 years after becoming a harbinger she's just in her early or mid twenties wtf 😮

So what we have is Lumine/Hotaru (I am done acknowledging Aether/Sora and I am tired of saying the Traveler) and Paimon going to a visit to Poisson and finds Lyney there along with Arlecchino the Knave who tells the duo they are here because a phantom child that shouldn't exist had shown up among the House of Hearth recently. Lumine and Paimon while there gets to interact with other members of the House of Hearth seeing them as quite a diverse bunch. It wasn't long before Lyney, Lumine, and Paimon notices Freminet was acting strangely to which Lyney takes notice. Freminet tells him that he has been hiding the Phantom Child their "Father" had been looking for. Freminet however has reservations of it especially as she had helped him in the past and Lyney was upset at Freminet for not letting him in on it sooner. They both swear to find out more of the ghost child Clervie's identity before thinking of what next along with Lynette who jumped in. This is quite interesting where the crew practically knows nothing about Clervie while it's us players who knows the full story and I can imagine this story quest sheds light on a lot of things. The whole crew learn a bit more from their own ends leading to the implication that the others have met Clervie as well and it's why Arlecchino had the change of residence in order along with a major Fatui project in the works the House is wary about. To resolve growing discord they all focus on the whole thing with Clervie. Later at night Lumine and Paimon notices Clervie running about and so they catch up to her and realizes Clervie might not be all there and her lingering regret is not being able to see Puriere again. This portion sheds light and context to the animated short as to why Clervie and the previous Knave Crucabena who is known to the previous House as "Mother" got into that argument as she has seen what Crucabena was really like while she hides it with her caring nature. Basically Crucabena and Dottore worked together where the former would send the kids she no longer sees any value in to Dottore who would use them for his experiments and projects. Next day the crew gets things together while getting some info on what Clervie mentioned. Lumine and Paimon goes to distract The Knave again only to find out she had knew from the start. By the Knave's invitation the two play along with her little errand at Palais Memonia. There the two find out The Knave had also known the identity of the child being Clervie and that the children of the Hearth likely had been acting up because of her. So much for the warning pigeon. The Knave goes to Neuvillette for a requested meeting to drop off a proposal along with stating her departure from Fontaine again. I imagine what was written has something to do with the House of Hearth. As they were leaving Lumine gets bumped into a paperboy who turns out it might be Horrer who was supposedly executed. In a sense all Knave really did was scratch him off the roster and just let him leave while "officially" disposing of him. Arlecchino takes Lumine and Paimon to a ruined place and there she tells them the truth they have been wanting to know about Clervie and The Knave's predecessor whom Clervie described. She tells them about what the previous Knave, about Clervie, and about Peruere. The two find out Peruere is Arlecchino herself and the Clervie they met was a fragment of regret of what Peruere remembers of her and that she is trapped in the past of the previous House of Hearth that was managed by her mother. After unveiling the truth, she deals with those who were affected by Clervie and to exact their punishment. Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet asks to spare them and so "Father" decided to settle it with a duel. Lumine after recounting everything she had learned from them, she also steps in making it a 4 vs 1. While they lost, Arlecchino does "spare" them using bottle of flames that burns away their identity as a child of Hearth. In a way they are dead but they are still alive and free to live normal lives much like Horrer the paperboy. She also leaves three for Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet and gives them a choice whether to take it themselves which they don't. Afterwards, Arlecchino finally meets with the trapped ghost of Clervie and tells her everything she was and did once finding out Peruere is now a Harbinger and that Crucabena is gone. The duo tells Clervie of their adventures till the sun rises. There Arlecchino releases Clervie from her prison and sets her spirit free finally bidding farewell to her dearest friend. Lyney goes back to update "Father" and the both of them go over future plans involving Project Stuzha and the Knave making Lyney the next king. Lumine and Paimon go to check up on Freminet and Lynette who now knows the truth of Clervie and Crucabena. They also notice the two who were exiled are living the lives they had hoped for. This story quest dove into the House of the Hearth while also focusing on Arlecchino as intended. Either Lumine and Paimon will meet The Knave next time as friend or foe will depend on the situation of their meeting.

Has anyone feels like hoyo releasing Arlechino short anime trailer before the patch release ruined the mystery? Because when I played the story quest it kinda did ruin the mystery for me 😅 but its still a fantastic quest tho HoH dynamic, fatui plans for the future and of course arle herself

Dam I had high hopes for the traveler during this fight. But, even though they are the main character they don’t bring much money to hoyo. Them being weak gives them room to make other characters look better for profit😅
