Oda can write these sad story’s because he writes hope. And there are millions of difficult situations to find hope in. And I loved what you two said in the beginning about seeing Joyboy. Because you’re right. From your perspective you already know who joyboy is and that he liberates people. And now you can pick up little things that all of us missed. Little clues that lead you to something bigger and that’s sprinkled throughout the series.

I love action, I love fight scenes and all the cool stuff. But I would be incorrect if I said I watch One Piece for action. I watch One Piece for its beautiful story telling. For the emotions, the character development, the tragedies that explain a character why the way they are. These are the elements that make One Piece and incredible as it is because the world of One Piece only gets bigger and bigger as you keep reading or watching. And its soo satisfying.

I love Luffy's speech about all the things he can't do, and that's why he needs his crew. Luffy has low general intelligence, but he has good awareness of his strengths and weaknesses. He also has simple yet profound wisdom, and his emotional intelligence is incredibly high. As both of you pointed out, Luffy instinctively knew how to free Nami from her prison; he also knew she was a good person, despite quite a lot of evidence to the contrary. Thanks for the video.

It's tears and goosebumps every time. Oda is great in the storytelling and characters, but the animation team did a phenomenal job in adapting the material and elevating it. The voice acting, the music, the animation. Everything comes together beautifully. And yes, one piece will probably make you tear up again. Stakes only get higher and more personal as we go along. But ultimately, it's still a funny adventure anime at heart. Oda's pretty good about mixing the two. Laughing one second, then devastated and crying the next. And the mysteries he teases are very enticing.

As a long time One Piece fan, watching y’all fall in love with this series is incredible. I can’t wait to go through the journey again with you.

Man, Im never going to skip a one piece reaction from the OtakuBroz. I started watching this show back when I was in yr 6, and I don't remember it hitting this much. The amount of things Oda portrays is extraordinary. As someone that has matured since watching the early episodes really makes me realises the depth of the show. Not only that, but realising why the pinwheel was "No longer needed" hit me. Cuz Genzo started to use the pinwheel because he wanted to see Nami smile and uses it for 8 years without taking off. However, the time Genzo finally takes off the "silly" pinwheel is the moment Nami was finally seen truly happy.

The back to back episodes comin in hot! This was such a great arc, it really set the pavement for the series to kick-off. Not sure if you guys know or not, but Joyboy is based on real world stories, "Joyboy smiles perpetually at all the foibles and problems of mankind and cures human troubles by tapping out an irresistible rhythm on his drum. Whoever hears the music of Joyboy is compelled to dance and sing along until he or she has shaken the black cloak of despair from their shoulders." One Piece has been and always will be about liberation and freedom.

Killing it! Oda is the king if details. One thing you will notice and your patience will be tested in the longer arcs however the details from the beginning will always matter. There’s always a bigger picture and then a bigger picture to that picture and then a bigger picture to all of that.

I appreciate y'all sharing this journey with us man. Back when I first got into one piece and finished this arc I was binging episodes everyday after that. I was so into the story it didn't even feel like I was binging a long series. There's so much more on this journey y'all cant even imagine yet, and i'm with y'all for it all the way. if y'all wanna binge more episodes fr you could upload reactions in batches of 4-6 episodes at a time. The OP community doesn't mind longer videos, a lot of one piece reactors do it that way. It's worth a test on the channel at some point if you can fit it into the schedule and manage to edit it. I know 3 is a lot to edit now though, i'm happy with whatever reaction y'all put out just figured i'd throw the suggestion out there after hearing y'all talk about binging series. Also now that you finished arlong Park you boiz gotta look up something called Jango's Dance carnival. It takes place a little while after this you can react to it or just watch it on your own, you'd enjoy it.
