I remember a few years back, I had just started playing and me and a bunch of different people had to do a raid on one of the airports. That’s one of my most memorable moments in the game, it was so different than battlefield and I was a kid so that’s what I was used to. The amount of time it took to do one thing was so amazing. I think the whole operation lasted for 6 hours before we finally finished it

Meantime campaign missions: - here's three unskilled guerilla farmers under your command. Take one or two explosive charge and one rpg you randomly picked up on last mission. Now go ambush enemy convoy, destroy apc and two armored cars, but don't damage the truck, because we need you to steal it and bring back. After that destroy enemy base. Oh also whole island is full of enemy soldiers, tanks and choppers. Also dont take too much time. Godspeed lieutenant Kerry!

arma 2 missions be like take down this entire enemy base with guarded by 3 platoons of guys and half a dozen btrs, also you have one rpg 18 good luck soldier freedom to chernarus

If i look out into the field yeah it looks like a pc game but when i was on the toilet scrolling through after watching real life combat vids and saw the helmets first, it looked like a real vid. Simple as that.

Tip for ambushing a convoy in an urban environment: put claymores on the side of the road in a zig zag pattern, at a slight distance between eachother. As soon as the vehicles pass, detonate. This kills the tires and they will dismount. Then, it's a turkey shoot

Why can't the get some better projectile & impact particle effects? Remember thinking this playing ARMA 2 years ago, however I would have though they could have addressed this in ARMA 3. Effects looks like something from pre 2010
