I realize a lot of people are opposed to layering, but my husband layers this fragrance with a couple of sprays of Terre D'hermes and the result is absolutely heavenly. The smoky birch from the CDNIM and the dirty orange and vetiver from the Terre D'hermes work perfectly together. I urge you to try it for yourself.

Excellent comment, winnie! Will try that out! I miss a specific sweetness in the drydown of CDNIM that I think would elevate this even further. Maybe a layer of Terre will do just that and send me to heaven. Cheers!

Ordered my “Limited Edition Parfum” as I was watching your review. I’ve laid off fragrance buying for a month or so because I just bought a 69 RS/SS Camaro and my funds have been redirected so to speak! Lol… I’ve waited 40 years to get another 69, my wife and son bought it without my knowledge and surprised me with it a few weeks ago. Well, I knew you would Love this ultimate version of CDNI. The Limited Edition is LEGIT!! Very smooth even at the opening but just like the OG the drydown is the star of this fragrance !! Only downside is it takes 3 hours to get to the drydown but again this fragrance is great from start to finish

@@DwyaneWadeCounty It depends on your setting, if you want to get noticed use Limited Edition because it’s beastly and has good sillage. But if you want to keep it classy but smell good only though hugs or any close encounters Chanel Edp for the win. Chanel quality is top tier compared to limited edition.

I got mine today based on your review… 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 the best Aventus clone. I can’t believe how much more smooth it is compared to my EDP. No comparison. It smells expensive. I blind tested it against two of my authentic Aventus batch’s to this… 10 of friends who are not into fragrances at all picked this. I can’t thank you enough. I think Creed needs to clone the Limited Edition… hehehe 😂

Ordered right after the video prime next day delivery it came yesterday & it’s 🔥 the presentation is top notch for $60 I give it a 10 & it projects for hrs put it on about 6:30pm yesterday & it’s now 11:00am & I still have a feint skin scent and received 2 compliments my boy said I see you went and dropped for that Aventus I had the whole presentation in the car showed him what it was he couldn’t believe it & ordered it on the spot definitely blind buy worthy

I got the Pure Parfum a few weeks ago, have heard it's the same as the limited edition and I love it. I have 4 batches of Aventus and a gazillion clones of it because it's my favorite DNA. I've worn the Pure Parfum like 15 times now which is insane for me to wear that often it's just so good.

Were you getting good performance from day 1. I got the pure parfum. It's been 3 weeks but not getting good performance as people say except for the first time I sprayed which lasted 8 hours of solid performance. Tried again a week later and 3 weeks later. Didn't perform.

The edp limited ed is the same as 200ml edp.the only difference is the presentation.the price between the two is almost the same, so i recommend going for the 200ml

When it comes to reviews on KZfaq, This one is often overshadowed by the “Limited Edition edp” which for some reason is rare and extremely hard to find. As of recently, I’m also seeing more and more reviews for the new 2022 release: the Parfum ‘pure perfume’. And of course the reviews for the original “CDNIM edt” overshadows them all. Glad to see someone finally review this one- I’ve always wondered about it!! 💯

Great review. I really appreciate how thorough you are! By the way, some early batches of Aventus were actually more citrus than pineapple forward in the top notes, with bergamot (not lemon) first, followed a few minutes into the drydown with a sweeter pineapple, but to my nose that note was always more subtle. So your description of CDNIM LE is basically a description of pre-2013 Aventus. Also the rose was never very prominent, nor was the apple, and there were barely any florals. The drydown of early Aventus -- bottles predating 2012 -- was little more than intense ashy dryness, like the smell of sooty paper money with smudged, fresh-off-the-press ink, and that unmistakable paper aroma. I actually found OG Aventus to be a bit too simplistic and one-note in the drydown, which is why I never sprang for a full bottle. By your review, it sounds like Armaf nailed that early iteration of the Creed. Looking forward to trying this one.

I’m going to make a haul video from all the fragrances I purchased because of your Channel . I made a blind purchase of Michael Kors Extreme Blue & after that I immediately trusted your judgement and criticism on fragrances. I’ve dealt with drug addiction and depression. I am happily 3 months sober now . Whenever I feel horrible I spray myself with extreme blue and feel like I can conquer the world tbh . Not only that ppl have been more polite & talkative with me . I recently purchased Armaf Futura LA Homme I will make a review on it , when it comes in . I hope to get my hands on this though can’t find it for a decent price online .

Nice review buddy!!! I'll wait the comparision with the Afnan Supremacy not only intense, is a little better in performance, but I smell it a little bit "oudy". Moreover, It is necessary to take into account the maceration in the fragrances of armaf. I am sure that this club de nuit will have a better performance in a few months. Best regards🤜🤛

I have Club de Nuit Intense Man [attention grabber!]. I just received Limited Edition Parfum - - - - - WOW! I was pulled aside by 2 lady coworkers and had their noses glued to my neck. Thumbs up on the Limited Edition, you're right about it being much sweeter all around badass. It competes with my Cedrat Boise. Thanks for your vids!

I just got the $65 Limited Edition Parfum and the only difference I can tell after first spray is the lack of that Pledge opening from the EDT. Still a great deal for that price if it's the kind of smell you like.

Heads up. Supremacy not only intense isn't a 1 to 1 clone. Opening in particular is quite different. But far dry down is very similar. So if you want 1 to 1 clone , cdnim is gonna be better. But performance is spectacular on noi. And will get you more compliment because of it.

@@Clevelandsteama I quite like it, it just feels more refined and less aggressive in the opening than the edt. The smokiness comes through alittle more as well in the dry down. It defiantly doesn't feel as in your face as the edt in a good way and keeps the same DNA. I love it, the changes seems Suttle yet effective.

I have the EDP version. It's great and my most complimented fragrance. Smooth lemon opening and not harsh. The EDP is more fruity than smoky to me. Lasts about 6-8 hours. Projects for about 2 hours if you spray your clothes. Some say the EDP and the Limited Edition are basically the same except Limited Edition lasts a little longer.

I just got the regular EDP and I agree with your description. I miss the smoky birch! Very smooth though. Great projector. I wanna get the Limited Edition just so I can get longer than 6 hours longevity.

@Travis Klopp YES!! I thought I was going insane.. thank you so much for that input...ya it's the 200 ml EDP. Because it's like all smoke and barely any citrus at all... But that good smoke don't get me wrong.... I saw someone on here talking about layering it with Terre d'Hermès .. to add the citrus that's missing... or even better they said Perry Ellis America.. that's real heavy with pineapple on the opening.

It gets better everytime I wear it. I do enjoy the drydown and the performance is reasonable. I think this is a solid choice on a rainy day. Wife prefers explorer though.

In my later years in life I gained a fondness of whiskey. I particularly enjoy some of the Scotch whiskies. I started learning about Scotch whiskies and watched several reviews of whiskies. The reviews of whiskey are similar to what I hear about fragrances. I tried hard to pick out different nuances in the whiskey as the reviews claimed. I found out that my taste sensation can change one day to the next. I have even sipped a little in the morning to test my taste buds after a woke up. Maybe I am not blessed with having the sensitive olfactory sensations of some of these people. Or maybe my English teacher's advice should be adhered to. He said, believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see.

I just got the regular EDP for $44 and it got me four compliments on the first day. It felt very smooth to me compared to the EDT. The EDP has great projection, more than the EDT. They both only get me 6 hrs on my skin though. The one negative for me on the EDP was the lack of that smoky birch smell from the EDT, which I love. I wanna try the Limited Edition EDP now. It sounds awesome.

I only tried the edt. Got compliments every time. I mean, people are asking what i wear. I dont find it very attractive on me. But maybe when it lingers on air it becomes very attractive to people.

So I finally got this version after all the hype. My verdict… it’s very good… not great. I didn’t try the other ‘harsher’ lemony openings of the others … and this one to me still has a lemon cleaner opening for the first 20 minutes to me. Doesn’t smell like a proper lemon IMO. After a while it gets quite a bit better… and hour in or so. Dry down is very nice. I think Mont Blanc Explorer, despite its poorer performance, is a better quality fragrance. Glad I didn’t try the other CDNMI as from what I heard the openings are even worse.

Ross I just got Abercrombie & Fitch Together off of your recommendation and it's a fantastic fragrance. Not as close to Invictus Aqua or Legend Spirit as I thought it would be. It does it's own thing and I dig it. The only A&F I don't have is BLUE, and from what I hear it isn't worth much cuz of the performance.

I like spraying the original club de nuit intense man on the chest then spraying mont blanc explorer on the arms and neck. Both are good on their own but they complement eachother wonderfully.

I had this delivered yesterday. Really nice. I have cdnim edp. The le is definitely smoother. I did a decant of the 2 mixed together and love it. Two spary comparison of the two on each hand...the edp is much more citric and did last longer on the skin. The le is smoother and a little smoky. I got 12hrs with edp and around 8 with the le

Ross, try fragrances from Rue Broca sub brand of Afnan. They are excellent. R U Serious is excellent Creed Aventus clone and Theoreme for men is excellent Bvlgari Tygar clone. Penthouse Larvotto should be YSL Tuxedo clone and even though I haven't tried it I am sure it will be excellent. Pride and Pride Intense are also very talked about as excellent fragrances. I believe Afnan has done great job with Rue Broca sub brand

I just got my CDN Ln yesterday after March anticipation and I’m mostly getting that lemon burst pretty much throughout the fragrance ☹️ The batch is from 11/23 so its basically brand new. Im hoping after some macerating it becomes a better scent. Im not getting any smokiness 😢 I did, however, get the same lemon burst from the Mont Blanc Explorer so maybe that’s just the scent itself 🤔 I have never smelled Aventus before.

The (latest) batches are awful. Mine is 2024/03. It is completely watered-down swill. It smells a bit different when you spray it (more lemony than usual). The atomizer shoots out more of a spritz than a mist. The scent lasts maybe 30 -60 minutes if you are lucky. I sent mine BACK. I googled around - and found that many others have the same comments (very weak performance) - in batches after 2022. Good luck. Mine (being 2024 / 03) is probably the most (freshly-made) batch - and it was horrible. I will wait another year before trying again.

You and I have the same month/year in the EDT. I love that one. Def going to have to give this a whirl. I just really wish the pineapple in these was present; very much lemon accord forward. Since I've tried the PVI, it's difficult to NOT crave that pineapple. Anyway...great review! "What is this...velvet?" Hard not to go there when I hear the word. 🤣

I’m thinking of getting the limited edition or the edp or the edt. It how does it compare to your pineapple vintage internees I got a sample of it the other day wore it twice it sTayed on my skin for along time but didn’t seem to project. Just wondering your thoughts on which I should get.

I didn’t know there was a parfum in the limited edition version. I know there is the OG, EDP then limited edition EDP (said to be the best and most expensive) and the newest called pure parfum. I might need to try these

The Limited Edition EDP is a misprint. It should have said Parfum if I'm not mistaken.

The Limited Edition says "parfum" on the bottle but it's EDP concentration just like the regular EDP, which I have.

I have a 200mL bottle, I wouldn't be surprised if the price shoots up on this brand. I had 8-10 hours on skin with no lubrication. Damn

Just opened my shipment and received this one. The presentation is astounding! I’m judging it as a stand alone, because I don’t own Aventus. I have smelled it, but don’t own it. This is a monster! The lemon opening is great and the dry down even better! I sprayed my hand to test it and after multiple hand washings so far today, it’s still pumping hard! This is a room filler, a take notice type fragrance! Can’t wait to wear it outside! Hats off to CDNIM Limited Edition Pure Parfum. This is my first CDIM Aventus version. I have Sillage and Milestone.

Ross, have you tried any of the Parfums Vintage versions. I suggest Emperor or Emperor extrait. More expensive, but worth it. Quality

More fruit in this. Less smoky less harsh less room filing power. I gave my brother the EDT but I kinda miss it for the smokiness is unmatched if you have the older batch. I think it is a bit redundant but if you love this DNA this is a great choice for what it offers.

Just got mine and it’s amazing. One spray on my neck and I can still smell it 10 hrs later. Only thing that suck is the 5 second alcohol blast in the beginning but that goes away almost instantly, then it’s tits for sure!! 😂 worth every single penny.
