Armando is a disciple of Jaime Escalante, the famous Bolivian teacher who encouraged his students to use “ganas” (their inner fortitude) to reach academic success. Amando was also inspired by his father, Alfredo Rodriguez, to exercise “convivienza”; in literal terms, to convivir is to live harmoniously with others.
Through this combination of willpower (ganas) and this concept of “convivienza”, Armando and his sister companies LatinoRen and CompassionateBot.com are changing the way we perform customer service and also the way we think about the term “Latino”. LatinoRen was built for every inner-city kid who grows up in a disadvantaged neighborhood worldwide.
